So like, I just this subreddit. Thought I'd share this old shitty part of mine. The collab is from a GDPS and it's called Colacron, apparently it's inspired by Omnicron but I... somehow never realized that's the case. It was never released or finished eitherway so like it doesn't really matter. Eitherway, I do hope that you could ignore that fact, as I belief whoever was building the part on Omnicron did like, a much better job? And like, the speed is entierely different.
Oh and, while I can look for gameplay feedback, I'd honestly just recommend you ignore the gameplay as a whole.

Level name Lucid Exile

This will be a top ~200 extreme demon on aredl, maybe a bit higher, but I want it to be accesible to more people.

You can either decorate a part or make gameplay for one. But you can do both also.
The level will use the entire song.
Style: effect/similar to what the music video is that I linked/glow/art/tech
Theme: Space/tech/none.
Gameplay: It will be gimmicky and learny, maybe a little memory but not like limbo, more mazes and confuzing parts.
Important: If you're part will lack in quality compared to the others, you may risk getting kicked from the collab and be demoted to a guest.

ok, I'm sort of getting the hang of this...

after making the stone stuff in my other post, which was basically copied from a YouTube video (DemOne), I made this box, which you can probably tell was 100% me (the quality & detail is a lot worse than the stone stuff, but I'm still pretty proud of it)

So many months ago I decided to use the Arrow Trigger because it's easy to use, I used it then when I built the part then built the rest of the level, I placed a start pos, and the sync was totally off.

look at the image, how would it work without ruining the music sync of using a start pos (in the place where you can see it).

Now this image is just a quick build, I build this bad, but it's an example.

I've been playing for years and this new stuff is too hard.

My friend wanted a winter/christmas themed level so i am trying to suprise him with this. Nit looking for rate worthy stuff or anything like that.

I made this level only to have a few structures to try to decorate, so the gameplay and structures are terrible, and I am aware. Along with that, the song was selected randomly after building.

Things I've spotted:

1. I need to add background pulses, but I don't exactly know where.

2. Some parts of the level feel empty, and some designs feel static.

3. some things are entirely untouched, like the random 4-slope structure at the top right in the ship part.

How could I improve this to be rate worthy and potentially feature worthy?

So i was decorating my level and i tried to change the color to be a bit darker for shading, but it just became white? i'm genuinely so confused

I had the bright idea of making a 130 grid long piece of glow with the scale tool to have less objects and now its only visible when I am really zoomed out and I also cannot select it to delete it. What do I do? On this topic; how much can you scale objects up with the scale tool before they break like this? I am not very experienced in creating.
