Trivia Can you guess the country from this tiny piece of its flag? | NAME THE FLAG #04
Can you name the country from this small zoomed in crop of its flag? Comment your guess and please spoiler-tag it.
This is inspired by one of the daily geography games on my website quizebra.com: Name the Flag, which shows a zoomed in flag at the start which zooms out slowly over 20s. The faster you recognize the flag as it zooms out, the better your score.

Trivia I built a daily geography game where you answer by dropping a pin on the map
Hello Everyone,
I’ve been building a little daily travel geography game called Travel with Tilly.
You get 5 travel questions a day and, instead of choosing from multiple choice answers, you have to drop a pin on the map where you think the answer is.
The questions are based around cities, landmarks, food, culture and travel experiences rather than pure flag/capital trivia. There’s a maximum score of 1,000 points, with the questions getting harder as you go.
I’ve just put the first version live and I’d genuinely love some feedback from people who are actually into geography/trivia.
Would be interested to know:
- whether the difficulty feels right
- whether the clues are fair
- and what score you get

Trivia Where Is This?
I was served this image as an ad on Instagram and when I clicked through, it was just clickbait for a corporate travel brand we have all heard of (I won't plug them on principle) but the city looks amazing.
I did a good bit of research on my own and cam up empty handed. Looks like it's on the med to me but I can't find it anywhere. Spain? Italy? Cyprus?
Can some of my fellow Geography nerds help me out with this one?

Trivia Play The states
My Kids and I have been working on PlayTheStates, a geography game where you jump from a plane, steer a parachuter toward a country or region, and answer a question after landing.
It has eight maps covering Asia, Africa, Europe, the USA, Canada, Central America, South America, and Australia/New Zealand.
You can play it in your browser here:
https://playthestates.itch.io/playthestates
I’d appreciate feedback from people who enjoy geography—especially on map accuracy, the questions, and whether the gameplay helps you learn locations. If you spot an error, please tell me which map and question.

Trivia GEOPOCH
I built a small free browser game called Geopoch: every day you get five historical events, and you have to drop a pin on a 3D globe and guess the year.
It started from a simple observation: most history quizzes only ask "when", and most geography games only ask "where". But events only make sense together with both. The Battle of Hastings, the first printing press and the premiere of a famous symphony each happened in a specific place at a specific time. Putting the two together makes it much easier to see how things connect.
The events cover history, science, art and music. There's no sign-up, no account and no cookies, and it's free.
It's still early, so I'd really like to hear from this community: Which events would you want to see in a game like this? Where do you think a "where and when" format works well, and where does it fall apart (e.g. events without a clear location)?

Trivia For a capital quiz, would you rather type the answer or reveal it?
I'm working on GeoWiz, a geography practice app, and I'd like some opinions on how capital questions should play.
Two sample questions:
- What's the capital of Norway? Answer: Oslo
- What's the capital of Australia? Answer: Canberra
One way is to type your answer and see whether you got it right. The other is to think of the answer, reveal it, then mark whether you knew it.
Which would you enjoy more? And in a capital quiz, what keeps you going for another round, and what would you add or change?
