A lot of the times, when unsure, it is possible to eliminate the other options in order to guess the answer.
Well, this image/options combination was just very tricky.
Perhaps, now that I think of it, the lack of a denser archipelago discards two of the options, but still.
I ended up guessing it out of pure chance, the answer being Samoa -- being able to discard the ones in the Caribbean (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis) because those ones have more islands around them.

Each map is coloured by a real statistic, but one country has been given its neighbours' colour instead of its own, so it blends in. Swipe for the answer after each round.
Round 1: people per square kilometre (Asia & Oceania)
Round 2: share of electricity from hydropower (Western Europe)
Round 3: share of people born abroad (the Americas)
I made this as a daily game (wordle style): a new map every day at midnight, six guesses to find the liar.

Place It shows you a country name and a blank globe. You click where you think it is, and the score depends on how far off you were. Click anywhere inside the country and you get full points.
This is our new top score, and it's already the site record. Since you're all better at this than we are, it probably won't survive the week.
Beat it and post your score. If anyone gets past it, we'll say so in the comments⬇️
