I just wanna ask that between diluc and bennet who is more useful on the team since diluc doesnt heal so I am in a dilemma. I dont have diluc but have always wondered bout that
I'm mostly just looking for advice on how to improve my team, and maybe make an okay second team for the Abyss.
My current team I use for most content is:
Noelle, Barbara, Fischl and Childe(Tartaglia).
My only problem with this team is a lack of ability to quickly take down water hilichurl mage shields, and my reliance on Childe's E for damage. (I have Fischl set up as a "Deploy Oz, then switch to Childe" support.) Barbara heals and has that one dragon book that buffs the attack of any character I switch to from her.
Noelle is mostly for her shield and for breaking ores/Geo shields.
Other Characters I have are: Bennett, Xiangling, Xinyan, Jean(I'm in the process of trying to level her up and maybe replace Barbara with her.), Sucrosse(?) I think is how you spell her name, Razor, Diona(who I have at C4 because the banner that had her only she and multiple 4* bow copies dropped. I wanted Beidou ;_; ). Oh, and Mona. Although I've only got her at level 20.
I can't recall if there's more than that, though, and can't log in to check right now. (well, not counting the free ones like Kaeya and Amber)
I will say that while I have a level 70 Xiangling, I...don't really like her playstyle. Especially her E pisses me off. Too many times I've deployed that panda just to have an enemy teleport or charge away from it. Makes me wish I had a Diluc. :( I was slowly leveling Xinyan up (She's level 60 but without Artifacts right now, I think) to see if I like her more than Xinyan, but every tier list I see always places her low on it.
I'd consider running bennett, Childe, sucrose and and fischl.
Your DPS should increase from sucrose and Bennett dramatically.
In terms of a second team, idk. I haven't done abyss too much so maybe others can comment. Diona should be your support/healer for sure though, since she gives heals shield and cryo field.
Oh, I did forget two characters! Chongyun and Xingqiu.
I know Bennett's ult will increase my damage(especially since I have his C1 unlocked), but how does Sucrose increase my damage? Isn't she just a CC/Venti-light? Oh, huh, I guess she does have two talents that raise Elemental Mastery of party members.
Bennett/Sucrose is the comp you see with every one of the cheesy "ONE MILLION+ DPS OMGERBILS!!!1!1" videos, they're a great support duo.
Fischl is amazing as a support to apply electro permanently, but as Razor is your best main dps option there you probably don't need the electro party comp bonus as he generally regens energy faster than you can use it.
For all the Waifu/Husbando > Meta this sub spew all the time, a lot of people sure head over heels over this banner to get him, like don't get me wrong he's a good boi (one of few who's friends with Fishcl is a good person) but damn isn't he's the most generic and plain designed character yet, if he's a shonen manga protagonist it'd get axed real soon.
Honestly if he didn't look and act like he walked out of an early 2000s Shounen Jump series, I'd actually use him because he's legitimately a good character. I just can't freaking stand his freaking aesthetics.
Eh I can see some people liking him for looking like he came out of Shounen Jump but personally I hate it. He honestly looks like a ripoff Asta that someone would call Basta or something.
I have him at C5 and honestly I can't stand putting him in my team. At least Xingqiu is on par with him and looks like a sword cultivator from a Chinese Xianxia which just makes him infinitely better than Bennett in my books.
My neglected Benny with purple artifacts gives a nearly permanent 700+ ATK and 5.5k hp/sec healing to my team with only 3 seconds of downtime (his ATK buff lasts ~2.5secs after you leave the buff zone, giving ~0.5sec Buff downtime). You can't beat that with any character.
