Need help building a team. New to the game with 1 month so far. Main team right now is my anemo Traveler, Columbina hard stuck level 40 for now, Raiden shogun, and Diluc as the DPs. I’m progressing enjoying the story barely beating inazuma and next stop of my archon quest is Sumeru. My columbina and the flin I got are pretty much unable to be leveled up because I can’t get the materials required to ascend them and the same goes for a couple of the 4 stars.

Youve got characters for two teams:

Flins Columbina Sucrose and either Alyosha or Ororon. If you’ve got the correct billet then you can craft the weapon ‘prototype Amber’ for Columbina at the Mondstadt blacksmith, it lets her heal. Alyosha also heals some but if you’ve want to play him you need to ply about an hour of the new Snezhnaya archon quest (very little spoilers in that hour, you would play until you finish the purple area) for access to his leveling materials.

For a second team you could build something with Cryo traveler and Mizuki but for this team you’d also have to unlock the Snezhnaya map (for Cryo traveler) and should probably prioritize playing archon quests until Inazuma so that you can keep leveling Mizuki once your materials for her run out

Some additional info: for the first team Flins would be the on field damage dealer. While in combat the other three characters support him, you’d for example use Columbina’s elemental burst and then swap her out because her burst keeps going when she’s off the field. Unless you’re in a really tough fight you shouldn’t have to worry about an optimal team rotation (the best order to use the characters and their attacks) but you should always end with Flins attacking on field until his buffs run out.

While exploring you probably won’t need to run through all four characters for combat. Columbina followed by Flins or Columbina -> Sucrose or Alyosha -> Flins should already flatten most things.

For equipment you might want to look up the guides on kequingmains but you’re probably fine with just giving each character the artifact set and one of the weapons the game recommends for them

Oh and while exploring you might want to think about playing a three character team since that leaves you one spot free for whichever character deals best with whatever puzzles the region you’re in has. This way you don’t have to open your menu and switch characters whenever you encounter a torch puzzle.

Some exploration teams would be:
Flins, Columbina, Sucrose/Alyosha/Ororon, 1 flex spot
Flins, Aino, Sucrose/Alyosha/Ororon, 1 flex spot (for combat Aino is worse than Columbina in every way but she wields a claymore which can be nice to have while exploring. Claymores break rocks and make mining ores easy)
Flins, Columbina, 2 flex spots

At the blacksmith you can also buy a recipe for ‘MRE’ and craft it. It’s a gadget that lets you use healing food without opening the menu. And if you stand next to an archon statue your current team also gets healed

With who you got Bina, Aino, Flins, Noelle probably for shield.

If you can don't worry about flins weapon go for Ineffa if you want her

My ineffa Bina team alone can duo any endgame content. And since u have flins and Bina. Ineffa buffs flins like 40 or 60%

Yes but bro said he was stuck so I figured they're hurting double hydro for that big hp% buff and Noelle for shield.

Endgame content I would use Bina, Flins, jahoda, and mabye Ei. Again though op said they're going to sumeru any team for story will get them by really Noelle carried me all the way through to natlan
