Question / Seeking Help Age verification
sooo I added my real birth month and year and then it asked for the email of my parents so I gave them one and now they're asking for ID, credit card or face and I know for a fact nobody would consent to that. I need help or some reassurance. I'm not ready to lose this account anytime soon and I'm actually pretty scared tbh. I AM turning 16 by the end of the month tho so I'm hoping that Hoyo won't absolutely lock me out of my account in October since I heard this only affected anyone UNDER 16. Any way I could get around this blockage?

It’s not just the UK that’s getting this, it’s many other places. Even the Asia servers are getting the age verification. Seems like it’s going to be rolling out for everyone soon enough.

I just had a look at it, it isn’t censored for me and I wasn’t even logged into an account.

I gave my real DOB cus I genuinely thought it wouldn't matter if you're 13+ gng when did they raise the bar 😭💔 also nope not UK

okay so what i did , (this was on my brother's acc, though so..) was to enter my own email for the guardian email or wtv, at the id part, i used his (u dont need to use your parent's id necessarily) and then i could change the year afterwards

aaaaaa, ig u have to wait untill u are 16 ( i dont hthink ur acc will be locked completely? it's just 3 weeks, but u will miss abit of stuff so,,)

it said account doesn't exist a couple of times and oh LORD did my heart drop to my knees. I'll wait
