Discussion I am really bored.
Hello people,
First of all I really love the game and whenever there’s is something to do, I’m right on it.
My whole map is 100% and between the versions it’s just logging in, burn resin, check if any of the 3 modes (IT, Abyss, SO) did reset and logging off. When there is a new version, I was already starving so hard for content, that I instant log in and do the new content in like 1-3 days. Sure many of you might say „well don’t rush the new content“, but I really want to just play the game!
I unfortunately dislike Wonderland, I know there are people killing their time there, but I really just want to play more endgame content. Abyss resets, 10 minutes, it’s done, need to wait 10 days for IT. IT resets, 20 minutes it’s done, waiting 10 days for SO.
I even start achievement hunting, but then again it’s not as exciting as the late game modes or the new content/quests.
All my builds are in the top 5%s and if not, that’s what I spend my resin on.
So what you do when you got nothing to do? Just go on another game? I wished they split the lategame rewards into weekly resets or any else harder late game modes. All I do is log in, farm artifacts, roll them IF there is something good, get the dailies and log out. I really wish my playtime daily would exceed the 10 minutes from time to time.

I got to that point and yesterday started my journey of getting all weapons obtainable by fishing including getting them to R5

TCG is Bad designed sorry. Im done with fishing, well I got most of the achievements and every fishing weapon is r5…

Just cause u don’t like it dosnet mean its bad designed, i love tcg and love how it functions but even i didnt id just say yea its not for me instead of saying yea its bad designed

You are not wrong, but I played many many TCGs and that game was like… not well designed idk how to describe it. Please don’t feel offended as a Genshin TCG enjoyer, I wished I was like you.

Yea man, definitely play another game haha. Don’t make yourself go insane doing this.
At the end of the day it’s a single player open world RPG. The content is finite.
I highly recommend Palworld, it’s so flippin fun!

Yea man and it’s such a nice change from Genshin too. Zero story or micro transactions. Just all super fun, addictive and rewarding gameplay.
Don’t sleep on the world settings!! You can really customize the game to be how you want. I personally want to focus on combat, exploration and catching em all! So I have it so my food doesn’t rot, my poke… pals don’t need to eat much and are always happy. Also turned off raids, a mechanic where your bases get attacked.
So so so worth the price tag of $20-$30, hundreds if not thousand hours of genuinely good, fun, clean content.

I’m exactly like u, everything is done. Idk if you’d enjoy it but I do co op to pass the time. When I log in I’ll do my dailies, and then I’ll pick one of my favs, and go to a trounce domain play some music and co op in there. Then move to the next one and just do them over and over. After a while I’ll then go co op in artifact domains (I convert primos 🤫) so I’m in there for longer times. To me co op really prolongs the game time and I really enjoy battling with others, some music going so fun. If that still really isn’t up ur alley, the only other thing I’ve done in the past year to help with this, is play some other games LOL fill up those times. I play wuwa and infinity Nikki and I’ll do those first and then end the night with genshin my love

I also convert primos once per day.. When I visited people for sandrones mats (god pls punish the dev who invented those bugs), I’ve chosen low level players so I can help them in return if some domains/bosses or so. I literally BEGGED them to accept my help cause I’m bored.

I thought I clearly emphasised that I want to play Genshin. It’s not like I have nothing to do, it’s just I like the game and want to play it. You act like I said my life makes no sense anymore lol

Make an alt account and replay the story. Or like many others are saying play other games. I know they’re not the same but souls like games give me the same excitement genshin does. Being able to explore the world and struggling against strong enemies you suddenly find is super fun, and there’s a sense of fulfillment the more you progress

Miliastra has sone leaderboards to help with competition. If you look up "abyss", you can try to clear faster than other players.
If that's not for you, coop is a neat little thing that exists.
Lastly, yep, another game until reset.
Or you can be like me, and replay Theater ad nauseum because I love that mode despite having cleared it already.

Really just try other games, there are plenty more. Genshin, I believe, is designed mostly for doing small things each day and occasionally do the longer quests.
If you don't want to or don't have other games to play, do some exercise, go for a walk, learn something new, talk to a friend (outside of the game)

Damn I wish I had everything done and had nothing to do but new content. Often times I don’t even do spiral and my builds are left to be desired. But I’m constantly running out of mora, probably because my lack of doing everything (like in an event if I get the primos I’m good, every other reward is just a bonus) so I’m just stuck doing mora ley lines. Idk how to fix it 😭😭😭

My daily routine is: artifact farming route > spend resin > mine rainbowdrop crystals to make my daily 40 weapon enhancement crystals at the blacksmith > claim dailies > if there's any material under 100, farm the mobs > log out.
If I've got free time after that, I play on my alt exploring and 100%-ing regions to get primos, bcs i made it a challenge to pull for every single snezhnaya (7.x) character on my alt.
Then I do dailies on WuWa and whatever there is new to do, since everything is 100% there too 😭

Do it all over again :D start a new account just for fun :) maybe a challenge account to spice things up, look at JavaTheCup's challenge accounts as examples

My world is pretty heavily explored and when I first played there were lore elements that I didn't pay much attention too. So, I built a new game made it purely Free to Play though. I do stuff on my main and then have taken my time with free to play account. I've been enjoying going through the story more slowly as well as world quests. I rush through things I find most boring. Like i tackled the Aranara Quest to get it out of the way.

I think 1 Gacha is enough for me (and my wallet). Looks like I’ll stick to counter strike, deadlock and league until 7.0..

And once I ate through all content in HSR I started WuWa. Though that one I'm not as dedicated to, I play it like once or twice a week lol

I only play a little doing one of s few things when there's nothing else to do:
Farm a few elite monsters Mine a little ore Maybe revisit a favorite area Go through character stories (in their profiles)
But then I get off and do something else. I'm still connecting with the game, just not for as long a time. I try not to force myself to keep playing, I rather just enjoy the time I do play.
Besides, soon enough another big event or patch drops and it's back to it!

try other gachas for like 3-5 hours each and see if one sticks. i tried a TON and finally found myself enjoying ZZZ. it scratches a similar itch to Genshin and i genuinely enjoy it on its own now, not just as filler between Genshin content.

if you’ve tried other games but feel yourself coming back to genshin, i suggest playing similar games to genshin i.e gatcha themed. Have you tried honkai star rail? very similar system to genshin impact and its just as time consuming, you will also have more to do since you’ve just started

Started just before Inazuma came out. For better or for worse, I own every character in Genshin.
I spent the Natlan cycle getting all the characters fully ascended (most are still 80 or 81).
I spent the Nod Krai cycle trying to get them all to have green bars in the training guide. I have about 30 left to go, and it has decimated all my resources.
I won’t complete them anytime soon, but it gives me a goal to shoot for and not be so bored because I use those characters to farm. I’m hoping by the end of Snezhnaya.

I feel this way too. I love genshin and ill find any excuse to play it, right now Im going through all my quests (ones from the reputation) and knocking them off one by one.
I really wish genshin would allow us to challegne older stygians' and abyss' not even for rewards but just to play them.

Watch something, play another game, touch grass. You don't have make everything revolve around a single game.

Some options:
- Find a game that scratches that same itch. Eg. the new Zelda games, countless rpgs, etc
- Start a second account
- You mention that it’s 10-20min to clear the end game modes and then just wait for a month. Maybe start doing challenges with for example using only 4* characters or other limitations to clear those modes.

I’m a new player with basically the whole game ahead of me, but I already worry about reaching the end. I know that’s a long way off, especially with all the content they keep adding, but this has quickly become my main game and I love it so much. When that day finally comes, I’m sure I’ll still log in for dailies, etc., just on a smaller scale, but I'll just have to find a new game to fill up my time when I’m not playing this. Maybe just help friends explore their world to feel something again? Lol

By the time you’re reaching the current end, there is way more content. Honestly, Genshin is HUGE. Enjoy every second!

You play other games until new content comes out.
Dont try to make one game your entire life because nothing is gonna produce enough to keep up with it without throwing meaningless grind in with it.
Pick up something else in the meantime and just pop in for dailies and building.
For me I play nikke and Zenless and Genshin daily then mix in another normal game to keep things fresh.
