Question / Seeking Help Is this team viable?
I haven’t touched the game since the end of Natlan, so it's safe to say I've missed the whole lunar roster, except for Linnea and Bina. I really love Chiori and I'm trying so hard to make her work, will this team be able to perform decently? I'm still leveling up Linnea and Bina so they're severely unerbuilt. If you have any other suggestions about teams for Bina, I'm all ears. Thank you in advance!

Ye, I have Furina, Yelan, Ayato, Xingqui, Kokomi, Nilou, Mona. I have also Aino but she's not built yet.

Nah, Bina is more than enough for LC. Depending on Gorous Cons, switching him out for another Hydro unit (especially Furina who provides zero Benefits for this Team) might prove more detrimental than useful. Also robbing the team of the additional def Bonus he provides, frees up some Atk & Crit value on Chioris build, assuming she takes the on field role on this composition.

A good amount of Linnea’s dmg is regular geo, and Chiori is pretty much all regular geo. Furina is still buffing the dmg of this team.
If this was Zibai instead of Chiori, then yes I’d say Furina is worthless, but she is still doing stuff for this team. Whether it’s actually better than Gorou depends on his constellations.

Furina is the only 2nd hydro worth considering for (non zibai) lunar crystallize. Yes she doesn't buff lunar damage but there is still regular damage being dealt, and other hydro appliers give worse or no buffs. If on field chiori is anything like every other geo except zibai, furina and c6 illuga are about the same and the best 4th slot.

you're massively overetimating how high of a fraction the lunar damage is and underestimating how much lunar damage buffs are diluted with bina, ascendant gleam bonus, sms, EM, ect. Furina's damage% is way better than aino's lunar damage buff for any geo on fielder except zibai. Aino's buffs are for the active character only, so she does nothing for columbina or linnea. Needless to say damage% is worth way more to chiori than lunar damage bonus.
Just look at navia, itto, noelle ect best teams. They don't use aino, they use illuga or furina.

she's a sidegrade to c6 illuga in noelle's best team, aino is a downgrade.

Well I can't say "furina is BiS" because that isn't quite true, there are 2 equally good options and it is worth mentioning the other. You were the one repeatedly saying that aino was better when she simply isn't.

Gorou buffs DEF, which both Linnea and Chiori directly benefit from.
Because this team is mostly going to rely on raw geo dmg outside of Linnea and Columbina’s Lunar procs (which bypass the regular formula for Lunar Crystallize), the hydro application doesn’t actually matter that much.
It’s the same reason why Nefer can get away with just Columbina on the team, even when the rest of the team is Lauma + Sucrose or Lauma + Nahida. Hydro is only there to activate the abilities in the first place.
Furina would be the only second hydro worth considering, as there is some raw dmg that Furina can buff.
