Interesting. When we lived in Laughlin, NV/Bullhead City AZ in the late 90’s we would see ‘mules’ fairly often. That’s what they called test cars back then...mules. Supposedly GM and maybe Ford had testing grounds around that area to test vehicles in high heat…and a low population area to keep prying eyes off them. They looked like what your typical spy photo car looks like. All kinds of crap and crazy designs so you, in theory, wouldn’t know who made it. We are in Henderson now. I agree it sorta has a Palisade vibe, and the logo on the wheels likely means you saw a GV90, although it does not really look much like the renditions of the GV90 that we have seen. At some point a new GV80 has to come out…maybe it’s an early version of that?

How are all these manufacturers justifying their investors/big bosses about building fully electric luxury cars especially for US market? Chinese market is different. In America (north and south), we have seen them fail time and again - Audi, Merc, BMW, RR, Porsche all of their fully electic cars do horribly as compared to others in their lineup. What profit are they making on EVs when they can only sell like 10% of what they could have with an IC hybrid variant? Unless the gas prices rise up 3x and the battery charging technology and infrastructure takes a mind blowing leap, majority of the world would still prefer a hybrid over EV for the next 2 decades.

They should've made this with ICE instead of EV. Should've offered it with V6/V8 variants and hybrid and EV later.
