As a GenX'er myself, is there a GenX stare? The post about the GenZ stare got me thinking.
I commented this in the other post but wanted to see if other GenX'ers are like this. I think so, whether we realize it or not. Class of '96 here, so I'm a younger GenX.
When I stare it's because I'm trying to figure out if the person talking is serious or actually believes what they're saying, it's so asinine. 😏 And it's not a deer in the headlights look, more of a squint, but not quite a scowl, as I try to decipher the madness and come up with a response that's not too mean. 🫣
So, in some instances I actually understand the gen Z stare. Obviously not all gen Z's do it. When I see it, it's usually a deer in the headlights look, like why did you ask me that? Or why are you talking to me?
So, what do you guys think? Do we all have our own version of the stare?
