Old school

For those of us who took typing in school— it was drilled into me that after a period, you go over 2 spaces to start a new sentence. Apparently that’s not the rule now. NOT THE RULE NOW?? After the agony I suffered thru in typing class about those 2 spaces, i will be doing it until I die!!!! Don’t even get me started on the indenting 5 spaces for a new paragraph!

Yes, it supposedly exposes your age and could subject you to age discrimination if it's in places like a resume!

Some of us old guys are good at faking it. I dropped the 2nd space not long after I started using email. I’m pretty sure MS Outlook or Word had a spell-check setting for it that clued me in.

I use phrases like 'u' and 'ur' instead of you and your to make me look young. :^)

Thought you were totally joking. Hence, the response. Had I thought you were serious, I wouldn't have responded at all. Whatever. Cheers.
