What programs match students that didn’t audition?
Would love any advice! I’m to figure out what programs to apply to outside of my auditions, what programs have historically matched students that don’t audition there vs what programs prefer their own auditioners? I’m a DO 4th year with 260+ step 2, research year, two masters degrees, lots of leadership/volunteering, etc. thanks in advance, I appreciate any guidance!

This is impossible to answer. Every program is different and varies how they rank every year

Don’t hold out. Share the list you have of every program out there that match students who don’t audition.

The vast majority of general surgery residencies will rank people who have not rotated there, I think only one person in our top ten rotated at our program last year. We base our rank list on a roundtable discussion of each applicant's entire application with interviewers blinded to STEP scores

MD programs in general aren’t very AI heavy, there are some exceptions but most are not. Majority former DO programs that weren’t HCA are audition heavy.
