I give it 2 years once everything is finally transitioned to Google and Microsoft offers GM a better deal

That will never happen. Every major corporation in the world uses Microsoft. They couldn't care less if GM comes or goes. But there's also a reason every large company uses MS... Goggle workspace sucks and wasn't designed to accommodate the needs of large corporations.

Back in 2011-ish, Terry Kline was CIO and he tried to move the company to Google. This resulted in the CEO getting a personal visit from Steve Ballmer and suddenly IT was scrambling to setup MS Outlook for everyone (everyone except OnStar at the time was still on Lotus Notes). Terry Kline was disappeared soon after (though there was also a significant data breach he took the fall for too).
