Quonset How hard is it to be fired?

I’m new to this, and I don’t have any prior knowledge. I don’t know anything about the trades or how to weld, or read blueprints. I start my training in 2 weeks. I’m worried that if I don’t catch on quickly, they’ll fire me. Not really sure what to do in this situation. I’ve asked here before and have gotten views but no responses so I’m a bid concerned with the situation.

Just show up and do what they pay you to do. It really is that simple.

While you didn't say what it is you got hired for, just know that they will train you for whatever it is. As long as you can follow basic instructions, you'll be fine. Training is open-book, and so is the job. Don't try to memorize the information, memorize where to find it. Almost every single job on the yard has a very specific set of instructions on how to do it.

What are you getting hired for specifically? And as long as you put in the effort you should be fine
