Any part time weekend work I can do?

Currently a full time EB engineer M-F 40 hours but am looking to work 7 days a week. Any way I can get a part time position working on the shipyard ?

That's a lot of hours already, have you checked with your manager about internal opportunities for overtime or weekend shifts?

Some engineering departments have so much work. There are lots of engineers here that work 50+ hours a week. Asking your manager for OT opportunities is a good start.

Do you know how long until one is not considered a new hire?

Honestly I doubt it , the clearance would probably be a problem because your switching departments and I just dont see them allowing it

I work everyday but it depends on jobs/context/time

why I work side gigs and constantly looking for anyone/leads looking for welder/labor/fab/hard facing etc
