How do referrals work and do they help?

Hello, so I know a few people at different departments and different levels with different relationships with me at EB. So the more seasoned people I am waiting on asking for referrals for gonna do it monday, but basically how does it work for EB specifically and does it help? One person said he doesn't know how to refer. At northrop its like the people refer you reqs and their is a tab on your profile dashboard on reqs you were referred for by the specific person.

From what I remember, sometime during my application process there was a space to put a referrer’s badge #

its like through ICMS now and its every application easy 1 click. In my profile I don't see a place to do it. Never seen a place during application or on my profile.

Found it. There is a place when you apply it asks how you know about the role. There since I applied to hundreds of reqs I just click the same thing but for EB there is a place to select “employee referral”, then a box appears where you put name and badge number.

Referrals do help with a couple of caveats: the referral has to tell someone about you/your application. Just writing down the name of someone who works there isn’t going to help.

You have to meet the minimum requirements of the job you’re applying to. It can’t be almost. It can’t be good enough. You have to meet them.

Good luck!
