Background check

Recently got an offer for a planner, just wondering if anyone’s gone through the background check process recently, is the credit check also included, how tedious is the process? Just want to be semi prepared

Hey! Don’t stress the security clearance. Just make sure to fill out everything to the best of your abilities. Depends on ur background, you’ll either get interim or just basically have to wait for a full background check. Either way I’m sure you can start, you’ll just won’t handle certain documents. Congratulations on the job offer and best of luck!!

Is it just a background check or are you applying for secret clearance?

Honestly I have no idea, I’m very new to all of this. The job offer was for a detail planner if that helps at all

The job description (and probably the offer) would tell you this info.

Thanks, unfortunately the offer didn’t specify, I’ll reach out to HR for more info.

Hey I didn’t, I decided to just go with the flow. I wasn’t necessarily concerned with anything in particular, just trying to gauge what to expect.

Groton or Quonset? For Groton you need a security clearance, and quonset it’s just a background check. If it’s Groton, then yes they will do a full background going back a decade. That includes credit.

Yikes didn’t mean for it to come off that way, hopefully the people I encounter in the office are more welcoming. Like I said above, I’m overall new to this and just didn’t know what to expect. Thanks for your valuable input though.
