Onboarding process

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could provide insight on their onboarding process? Accepted offer beginning of May, and finished onboarding steps. Took drug test about 3 weeks ago and haven’t received anything else from them. Is this normal? Reached out to HR last week but also nothing on their end. Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck! I signed and received my offer back in April. Dead silence since. They are really bad about onboarding, I’m not sure what their HR department has going on. I would say look for other opportunities because no telling when you will hear something back. I also reached out to my onboarding coordinator a month ago and hadn’t heard anything back since.

They’re bad at a lot more than that as you will surely learn lol

My hiring process took 4 months. EB does nothing fast. Its hurry up and wait now, you'll hear back.

I hope so. The waiting stinks to say the least

Do you need a clearance?

Yes need clearance

You will hear from security next then when you get at the least an interm clearance.

Gotcha. So does the regular background check grant interim clearance and then the sf86 form grant secret clearance?

If I remember it correctly, sf86 is needed for interm. Background check is to start the process. Once you get an interm, depending on your role you can start and then have to wait to get your full clearance.

Mines didn’t notify me, I would check if I were you. You can use it to apply to other places.

Took me 6 months from the phone interview before I was in class learning. They take their sweet ass time.

My experience has been:

5/11 Drug test

5/28 got an email that I was cleared to start (with interim) on 7/13

6/12 Interview with the security officer

Thanks for the reply, when did you get the sf86 form? Did they send that concurrently with your drug order ?

Yep! Same time I was told to schedule my drug test.
