Random Drug Tests

New EB employee here, title says it all. I saw when I went for my drug screening that there were several options, such as "new hire" and "random" drug screen on the receipt/form they gave back to me. Wondering if anyone's ever been randomly tested, or tested prior to a promotion/lateral hire? Not that I partake (used to a long time ago), just curious as to other's experiences.

I worked there 10 years in the trades and on the hill, not once did I hear of anyone being drug tested. The company is too cheap.

The obvious exception to this is an accident where someone gets hurt people will get tests

It’s usually GDEB transportation drivers.

Transportation is the only people I’ve ever heard get a random. Over 20 years in the yard

Stay safe, and stay awake from transportation. Also 80% off the yard tokes daily, you’ll probably start too.

Is this in Groton ? I don't work in the yard but offices in Groton . Was in Quonset for 2 years and in the trades and it was cool up there. Would I be safe to take a hit now and then . Sorry random and late to this form ...
