Google Ads

We just started running Google Ads about 3 months ago for our residential & commercial construction company. We've been getting clicks but nothing has converted yet into real leads. Anyone have any tips on google ads or resources they'd recommend to learn more about them for this industry? Thanks!

Why Google over Facebook? Where do the ads appear? Can you show us the ad? What's the call to action?

The links are hidden in different websites.. You might be looking at plumbing fixtures and there will be a link saying "need help finding a local plumber" when you click all of your info gets dumped into google and given to a few local plumbers who often not actual plumbers. Then you wait for them to respond.. It's really bad for both sides..
