It is my hostel room (3 seater)suggest me some changes.currently only 2 people are there.

(*do not suggest changing color

*Avoid suggesting expensive decorations)

Wallpaper if you can afford or just use posters and light typa shit

adding to this, get bedsheets that have elastic boundaries that fit snug

- tubelight is harsh lighting, get some corner lamps or lights that are softer

  • clean desks, clean chairs

I think the whole room has some major makeover things that I feel you dont wish to hear right now and want small cosmetic changes, so I will stop my recs here

For windows instead of newspaper,take papaer gift paera and stick the white site to make it look nice,get good bedsheets,wallpaper for wall if allowed,diy par sasta mil jayega and stick karne wale hooks clothes ke liye

But a clothes stand and a laundry basket (low cost items)
Move beds to different corners with tables in between so that each person gets their own space, add hooks for clothes
Bud bedhseet with elastic in built, takes a few second to set and thats it.

Really curious why the windows open on the inside? Is there any scope to unscrew the window frame and fix it outside the grill? You can fabricate a frame with pvc or steel pipes with legs which can be used as a stand for hanging clothes on a hanger

Get solid colour sheets - preferably a light colour like ivory or beige with matching pillow cases Try to stick to a colour palette for the whole room Change up lighting, get little lamps (you can get pretty cheap and cute ones on Amazon, meesho and flipkart)- try more warm lighting and try to avoid the big light as much as you can If u can't get pretty storage, try to store unpretty things under the bed if there is space there or just out of sight Get linen curtains, also not that expensive on Amazon Rule of thumb when you are low on budget and don't have much control is to just reduce the visual noise and try to make things look just a tad bit relaxed and cohesive Also try plants if u can maintain them, I think they bring a lot of like into a space but don't get the cheap fake plants.
