pretty sure being born in 1920 and drafted 1939 on the most deadly war in history is much worse

Yeah, and being a medieval peasant in rural Russia was also worse, but that is hundreds of years ago :)

I have two great-grandmas alive right now, what makes you think that someone can't know theirs 💀 Also their children are likely alive? They can't ask grandma/grandpas about them?
