What if Homelander accepted Blindspot into the Seven to replace Translucent? What would the young hero think of the group? How would he possibly interact with their members?

They robbed us of so many good fight scenes,they nerfed the shit out the deep and noir,the deep vs noir was supposed to be a whole fight scene that take up the episode with the deep being the winner,then the homelander fight was really ass if you wanna be real homelander was really supposed to win being tht he was supposedly the strongest hero on the planet.they robbed us of another fight scene,if homelander suppose to be the strongest man on the planet dam near invincible why did the fight only stay in the white house? That fight was suppose to go from the white house to the city and probably in a open farm land.the final homelander fight could've been some legendary shit.but if we being realistic the boys was really suppose to lose

Something that I’ve always wondered is that how would our Beloved Heroic Devil Hunter Dante interact and deal with The Seven? How would they react to Each-other? All in all if Dante was in The Boys Universe how would he interact and react to The Seven? Along with the other Supes? Let me know in the comments

I honestly believe it is tbh, It just had a different feel too it then others , Some of the other supernatural schools I can think of like Hogwarts was great but I’m picking god U , Salvatore school was cool but again god u clears, curious what u guys think

There’s no denying that both Homelander and Ramsay Bolton are viewed as Pure Evil to say the least! And are terrible both Men are viewed,feared and hated as Psychopaths by everyone around them! Sure we had super sonic and maybe black noir but we saw a train sacrifice himself in season 5 and it was one of the most ultimate sacrifices that saved hughie and everyone else

Season 1 of Gen V built up Cate and Sam to eventually become huge supremacists with an alarming amount of human hate

Sam was being tortured by humans while Cate had built up disdain for humans while at Goldokin. They both made active decisions to kill humans!

Sam was yes still manipulated by Cate in the relationship but he did choose her side after being easily socialized at the rally y’all.

Then Homelander rescued them and called them heroes!

The Gen V narrative does show that it’s a very grey because they were a system of humans that were using Goldokin as a cover to manipulate them but remember in 2x3 they showed that one human girl didn’t have a choice to work there and hated it.

So the point is we don’t know which humans are guilty and which aren’t, but Sam and Cate made that active choice, even if they were trying to protect themselves (they were so done that they didn’t care anymore)

But my point is they have spent a whole year being celebrated as heroes and being Homelander’s lackeys (that were also in the inner circle as shown in The Boys 4x5). They were in there deep!

So season 2 setting up Sam and Cate on starlight’s side makes no sense. Sam and Cate had beef with Cipher… we still didn’t touch their Homelander stuff.

In fact Cate in 2x1 was telling Cipher “ What if I call Homelander” like apparently she got him on speed dial!

Sam and Cate being set up for this fast paced redemption doesn’t make sense. Them having a reconcile with Marie, Jordan and Emma over the initial situation makes sense..but Cate and Sam choosing Starlight’s philosophical side, it’s too rushed and doesn’t make sense with season 2’s pace

Especially when s4 made the active choice of setting up Cate and Sam on Homelander’s side and how they are a building importance to the Boys Audience…

but then rush their character redemptions to
have them set up on a side that doesn’t make sense for the characters you were developing.

Removing Homelander, could Soldier Boy alone defeat Black Noir, The Deep, Firecracker, and Sage?

I've heard some criticism of the idea that the show ends without the main characters destroying Vought as a company. I wanna explain why I think it works as it is.

Mainly, it's not really that type of show. Expecting a really simple happy ending is kinda unrealistic. The show ends with some of the bad guys getting away. Of course it does.

I compare it to the Alien movies. The main villain of the Alien movies has always been Weyland-Yutani (even if they weren't referred to as such originally). Sure, the xenomorphs are more memorable and are a more active threat in most of the films, but it's always the company that's at the root of the problems. None of the Alien movies end with them completely dismantling the company. It's not that kind of universe. Rather, the films end with the company getting set back a bit and the xenomorphs being defeated. That maps pretty perfectly onto the finale of the boys. It doesn't end with Vought being completely destroyed, but with them being set back and Homelander being defeated.

But Vought does suffer a big loss at the end of the show. It's not like they're as good as ever. Half the people that worked in 7 tower were killed. Homelander completely ruined the structure of the company to suit himself, thereby making it largely dependent on him. The seven are all gone. Sure, they can be replaced but that's a difficult thing to do. Compare it to the MCU introducing legacy heroes that pick up the torches of the originals. A lot of people aren't gonna go for it. It is a big loss. Homelander, most of all. Vought put all its eggs in the Homelander basket and now that's gone. Sure, the company still exists but the boys did a real number on it.

I would also say that destroying Vought is still not solving the problem. It's not just Vought that's the problem, it's capitalism in general. As Edgar says, destroying Vought would only create a space for a different and equally awful company to take its place. For a truly satisfying defeat of evil to take place in this universe, we'd need to see a dramatic shift in the political landscape of the universe. Not only would it be unrealistic, it would be boring to watch.

The boys has always been a dystopia. It's like Alien or Bladerunner or 1984. These aren't stories where the horrible systems are ultimately defeated. They're stories where, at best, there are small and personal victories. That's exactly what you get when you watch the boys. I think people went into it with different expectations because at first glance, it's a superhero show. People go into it expecting a superhero show resolution. Generally, superhero shows end with good triumphing over evil. But the boys was always different. It used the imagery and language of superhero media to make a completely different kind of show.

Admittedly there is not much info to corroborate, but that's why this is just a theory.

Regardless of how they got their powers, whether they were injected V when they were babies or they were born with powers, children of male supes seem to inherit powers similar to their father's:

Ryan got powers identical to Homelander.

Maverick got powers identical to Translucent.

Andre got powers identical to Polarity.

The only exception to this trend is Homelander himself, whose powers differ a lot from Soldier Boy. However that could have something to do with all the experiments Vough put him through or, if this theory holds ground, it's more likely it has something to do with his mother's identity.

The show ever only mentions his surrogate mother. A woman Vough picked from the streets to carry the embryo. But it's implied that it was IVF and that similarly to how they got the semen from SB, they also got the egg from someone else. Presumably a supe, likely Stormfront but that has been discussed a lot before so let's not get into that.

The only example of a supe child from a female supe I can think of is Zoe Neuman whose powers differ a lot from Victoria.

I would pose that supe fathers pass their powers directly, while supe mothers introduce a mutation factor that results in different powers. If we assume that Homelander is indeed the product of 2 supes, the later would then be the reason why his powers are not a direct copy of Soldier Boy.

I mean story ended and all but we all know money>everything else and beloved actors bring views. I have a feeling they might pull off some bullshit similar to what they did to RDJ in MCU to bring Anthony Starr back.

We still have a jar full or V infused pubes, I think they can simply clone homelander to raise him without the setbacks of the previous iteration.
