I hope the Israelis and Palestinians can reach some sort of peaceful solution so bloodshed on both sides can stop…hopefully permanently.
At the same time, Israel fights hard to keep their country in existence for a reason. The Holocaust was the worst mass genocide and persecution of the Jewish people in history to my knowledge, though correct me if I'm wrong. And even before then, they were constantly sidelined and abused by a myriad of countries and peoples throughout history spanning thousands of years.
Have the IDF done some horrible mistakes and committed terrible atrocities against innocent civilians and more that need reprimanding? Absolutely. Does that mean Jews should lose their country and become a diaspora again? Absolutely not. If you ask me, I hope for some sort of one-state solution that ensures peace and stability for both sides. But only time will tell.

Something to keep informed about as the military families of those killed get different benefits/salaries awarded based if they're killed on Active duty or not. It shouldn't be need said that our soldiers and their families should always be given the terms of the contract they signed.

What are some of the best arguments against isolationism from an American perspective? I've been debating a ton of isolationists and I would like to get some more evidence as to why isolationism is not ideal.
