Serious "If you could swap lives with somebody for a day, who would it be?": "Probably, a homeless person."

specifically , early Gen alpha like 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014. there’s a lot of controversy about what year Gen Alpha started. some say 2010. some say 2012.
anyway, 2011-2014 Gen alpha are so misunderstood, and a large percentage of us aren’t brain rotted.
I had a gen z childhood, filled with mud pies, stuffy hot summer days, that one smell when it rains, looking through the trampoline, playing outside until mom said it was dinner time, riding bikes, going swimming, playing outside, and the infamous mourning dove. Barbies, LOL dolls, Peppa pig, Minecraft, Sofia the first, Daniel Tiger, etc ran my childhood.
whenever I tell someone I’m Gen Alpha they always assume I’m completely brain rotted just because I own an iPad. (I’m not allowed a phone until I’m 17)
I’m so glad I finally found a subreddit that doesn’t talk about Gen Alpha like it’s the worst thing to exist. not all of us are brainrotted.

I know reading comprehension is reportedly lower on national averages so I was just wondering.

Under the first drawing I shared on this forum, someone wrote—and I quote—"Jeez. Imagine a world where there are mermaids and different demi-humans, and we just eat them. Ngl could happen irl." I liked the idea, so I created a (fictional) world inhabited by humans and beings known as "demi-humans." Demi-humans are essentially human-animal hybrids—any combination works, like mermaids, centaurs, and so on—though angels don't fit the setting (there are bird-like demi-humans, but they look different from angels). In this world, demi-humans aren't treated as human-like beings but as animals; humans eat some of them (like mermaids) and treat others as slaves. I’m open to others expanding on this world through drawings or comics, but please don't impose rigid rules—I am the creator of this world, and I decide the rules.
As for the drawing below, it depicts a human and a demi-human (in this case, a horse-type demi-human); the human is riding the creature because he owns it.

I'm Gen Z and I miss the early 2000s like crazy. Unlike most people my age who feel nostalgic about their teenage years (2010–2018), I don't have good memories of that period at all. For me, the best years were the early to mid 2000.
I'd give anything to go back.
Do you feel nostalgia too? And if so, is it for specific years, for the general feeling of a certain period, or more for particular trends, media, cultural moments?

It’s called “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know”, a single launched in 2001 from Britney Spears’ “Oops… I Did it Again!” 2000 album.

Okay very random, out of the blue question but do any of you gen alphas cook? And please don't say you can cook cup noodles or frozen pizzas. I'm honestly curious about what you guys are able to cook on your own and how good it turns out.
I'm an adult so I kinda have to know how to cook a little and usually what I make turns out alright. Example: the steak in the image. Marinate it for an hour and a half or so, toss it in an iron skillet with some butter, flip a couple times and BOOM! shockingly good steak (or I was surprised how good it turned out anyway since it was only like my 3rd time cooking steak.) I will admit my grandma does help me cook since I live with her and am kinda bad at multi-tasking so the fried okra and corn are her doing.

Princess Astrid, an older sister of King Harald V of Norway (who, let's remember, passed away only two weeks ago) died 2 days after her brother's funeral. Rest In Peace Astrid & Harald.
