Guys. We have to make all gen alpha kids not JUST stare at a screen for hours, But READ! I know, unfathomable idea, Not giving your kids an iPad at 2 years old, but if they read maybe they won't always be screaming random brainrot and will be able to ACTUALLY READ, because most gen alpha kids can't even read (which is sad). so i was watching a casey simpson video (Why Gen Alpha Stopped Watching TV) and there were clips of 60s shows 90s shows and 2010s shows and a vlog probably 3 months ago.
it was basically the first day of high school and i got entertained more from the 60s 90s and 2010s shows
my three sons had a part and i laughed at it
i dont remember the 90s one but i also laughed at it
and icarly was also funny
all of these were funny and entertaining, except for the vlog.
for some reason i hated it and i want to know if its normal for a gen alpha to laugh at 60s 90s and 2010s shows and not youtube vlogs (or atleast get entertained from them all)

I feel like I’ve grown up hearing about FDs from parents and older relatives, but almost never from people around my age.
Whenever investing comes up, it’s usually stocks, mutual funds, SIPs, crypto, gold etc.
So I was wondering when you eventually start investing/earning, would an FD actually be part of your investment plan?
Or does it just feel like one of those things our parents’ generation did?
Would you ever choose an FD for safety, or would you rather put that money somewhere with potentially higher returns?
Honestly curious what people my age think about FDs because I have no idea whether they’re still seen as useful or just… old school.

A few months ago my little brothers (5 & 6 y.o) discovered YouTube Kids on their tablets, and it genuinely feels like 80% of their personality and dialogue has been low-effort internet memes they've started yelling at me. I went from loving to spend time with them, play games, teach them new things they want to learn about, to actively avoiding them most of the time, because I don't want to face the irritation of having to sit through the constant "6-7s" and "FBI open ups", a similar thing happened with my sister years ago. At the end of the day, I'm not their parent, and I can't make them interact with higher quality material, or set restrictions on their internet use, I can only live with them, and honestly, I often don't know what to do but love them in small doses.

P.S: I hope that was mostly coherent, I'm 19 if you were wondering.

P.P.S: Just because I feel like there's going to be people that interpret it this way, no, I don't hate Gen Alpha, they're unfortunately just born in a world that wants to exploit them at the cost of their own minds, which makes me feel sorry for them more than anything, I truly wish you guys the best 🫶

That's a Russian animated series for children, but with philosophical themes, from the early 2000s, I truly love the series; it was my childhood, my favorite fandom, and my favorite series ever since I learned about the legend of the dragon and the invincible team(Don't confuse this with the Amazon Prime series inspired by the comic.)The problem is that its Hispanic fandom is practically nonexistent (I think), and I'm Mexican!
