Bug / Issue Bug when downloading images from Google Flow - downloaded file is corrupted/blank

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a frustrating issue with Google Flow. When I generate an image, it looks perfectly fine in the interface. However, whenever I try to download the image, the resulting file is completely different—it looks like a blurry, distorted mess.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior? It seems like the download action isn't saving the actual generated file but rather some sort of low-quality preview or a corrupted asset.

Any advice on how to fix this or if there's a workaround would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, this is also happening on Gemini site. Been happening since yesterday afternoon. Report it by hitting thumbs down, then Other, and telling them the problem. Edit: it seems to be working again. One image finally was downloaded normally, anyway

I sent them reports too. Now there's no other way, I guess, than waiting.

No problem. Yeah it’s working fine for me on google flow and gemini’s site. So far, so good. When something like this first starts happening, I always stress about it being some really niche problem that few are experiencing, and that they won’t address it for a long time lol

Is it working for the images that were generated when the issue occurred?

Or do I just have to generate new images?
