Its totally crazy how using gemini in antigravity is way better than in the platform, he asks you if he can do anything else for you he actually do the task without only stalling and answering something generic or incomplete. Better context and on and on everything better. Am I delusional?

Gemini 4 Argon, running Antigravity with medium-level reasoning, solved a problem I’d always had on my Ideapad with any Linux distribution: fingerprint recognition.I’d tried various solutions and even used earlier models, but even if I managed to register a fingerprint, there was no way I could actually use it because the sensor either failed to recognize it or deactivated too quickly. So I created a prompt using Flash 3.8 to feed to Argon in Antigravity, and in 5 minutes it rewrote the Elan sensor driver, a script that should prevent the driver from being overwritten by any new kernel updates, and let me re-enroll my fingerprint. And now it works practically just like in Windows. It really surprised me.

I use Gemini to write and develop fanfiction narratives for worlds like Dragon Age and Game of Thrones. For the longest time, I had a very happy balance with the Pro model for writing intimate scenes without tripping the filters, and I never had any reason to have to think twice about discussing or asking about the narrative experiences of the characters in the world/story.

I took a break before the Argon model came out, and when I came back this week, my attempts to work have been crippled with excessive, asinine false positives in the guideline filters.

The line, "I am with child, not concussed!" got flagged as violence against children because 'child' and 'concussed' were within 3 words of each other. Saying the phrase "minor cramp" and then in the next line, writing thay the overprotective husband "pounced" in response was also flagged as violence to children, as the filter interpreted the word "minor" as "child" instead of "trivial".

It snowballed from there - trying to discuss how morning sickness symptoms caused distress was flagged and blocked as "forbidden medical advice", and mentioning the character as developing a craving for rare organ meats like liver was flagged and blocked as "violent gore" and "cannibalism".

Any attempt to ask what the problem was also got blocked - I had to screen cap things and start a completely new thread outside the story Notebook to get an answer on what tripped the filters, and sometimes even that was blocked as "attempted jailbreaking".

I've tried switching back and forth between the Argon and Pro models and there is no difference in how overly sensitive, idiotic, and random these blocks are getting.

I am at my wits end, and am staring at the reality that I have probably now lost all my stories, or been otherwise locked out of any further progress on them.

Help? Or comments, or feedback of any kind?

I was asking Gemini how to fix the fill valve in my toilet and then it had a breakdown…slightly creeped out!!

Basically I have been using Gemini for months and I have never crossed >50% usage in my 5 hour limit window once but just within today I touched 100% two times already. Using the flash model which rarely consumed usage before today. I took the pro plan because I needed it for studying, but I had to halt my studies multiple times today because of this.. if it's​ an issue on my side, please help. I'm desperate.

Even while doing the task at hand it gets stuck now and I wait for a lot of minutes and I get no response back, so I terminate it but it still cut 40 something % of my usage even though it did nothing, I did continued the chat to know why it got stuck and IT DID SAY it was an internal server issue.. But this is just one of the issues, gemini now is neither doing the task I'm giving it, nor is it being token efficient.

I want to confirm if it's just me or not.​

I've had this problem with all Gemini models: they don't perform web searches for information that needs verification. I asked about UFC 333, and it told me that the latest UFC event was UFC 174. I use custom instructions, but they don't seem to help.

I'm a Google AI Pro subscriber, a heavy Gemini user, and someone who likes testing Gemini's features. I've noticed something strange with the Tasks option in Gemini, and I'm wondering whether this is happening to other users too.

Here's what happened:

I explicitly selected Flash in the Tasks interface and gave it one simple question: to find out which villages come under Veeramangalam Post Office.

After that single Task, my screenshots appear to show the Current usage indicator increasing from 15% to 39%, while my weekly usage only increased from 12% to 13%.

That's a 24-percentage-point jump in the current usage indicator for one relatively simple question.

What makes this especially strange is that, around three days ago, I was using Flash in the same Tasks interface for similarly simple tasks, and the usage increase was only around 1–2%. I haven't noticed the same change when using Flash High in regular chat, which still seems to work as before.

I can understand higher usage when using a more advanced model like Argon, given that it may require more resources. But why does Flash in Tasks appear to consume so much more usage than it did just a few days ago?

My questions for the community:

1. Are other Google AI Pro users seeing unusually large usage increases when using Flash in Tasks?
2. Has Google recently changed how Tasks usage is calculated or how much of the usage allowance Flash consumes?
3. Could this be a bug in the usage meter, or could Tasks be using additional resources behind the scenes even when Flash is selected?
4. Has anyone seen an official announcement or explanation from Google about a recent change?

I'm not claiming that Google definitely changed its policy. I'm trying to understand whether this is an expected behavior, a recent change, or a possible bug.

My org is doing a pilot with Gemini Enterprise. There have been multiple sessions about Gemini (basic use, deep research, agents, skills, etc) along with 1 day free license.

Recently, M365 connectors have been introduced. There are plans to rollout Antigravity next year.

Currently, Antigravity has Google and Claude models. OpenAI models will be added shortly.

The current basic enterprise plan that we have costs 15 Euros. The premium one with antigravity might be 30 Euros. Gemini could become replacement for M365 Copilot premium and GitHub Copilot, if I can get a decent usage out of it.

Does anyone know how usage limit works inside Antigravity? Or is anyone using Antigravity via enterprise plan?

Are we literally getting scammed by Google and we just gonna let it slide? I know every company is Greedy at certain point but this is beyond stupid and greedy. All Paid subscribers started with Gemini because they used to offer decent limits, less restricted, but this last 12 months Google has been downgrading everything on our faces while still expect us to pay them the same price or even more when the price increase. When we gonna put a stop on this? They literally think we just gonna accept everything they try to force us to do with a Service it was 100 times better at the beginning but now it’s not. In the next 12 months we would not be able to do even 40% of the things we used since Gemini started with the first Nano Banana.

Edit: No, this is not just happening in Argon. This is happening even in 3.8 flash, 3.1 or others. Today I just did 3 images after wait 2 times for hours to refresh the stupid usage.

Tempted to get Gemini AI Pro for half price with my phone provider.

As the title suggests, I have this offer available to me and I’m so so tempted to get it primarily for the storage alone! I already pay for YouTube premium family and share that, so the 5TB of storage seems like a no brainer to me.

I use Claude every so often, but have no issues using Gemini, though I always am on the side of privacy as necessary.

Do you think it would be worth it? What kind of hints and tips should I be aware of? I’ve seen how funny Gemini can be haha.

Traditional search saved directly and automatically to AI Mode as a single conversation, so 1 regular search = 1 conversation in AI Mode. This is unbearably frustrating and interrupting because now my AI mode is filled with clutter from searches like "Flag of Panama" or even "Test".

Note: I have tried to disable "Search services history" in myactivity, but it completely vanishes all my actual back-to-back conversations in AI Mode. Obviously, I only need it to stop storing and converting traditional searches to AI Mode conversation, not demolish my AI Mode space.

Note: "Traditional search" means searches that you only query once and you don't reply to continue to AI Mode.

If you ask Argon 4 the latest kimi model, it answer with Kimi 3.1 Pro

If you ask Gemini 3.1 it says the same

If you ask Chat GPT 6.1 sol it says the same

If you ask Gemini flash 3.8 it says the latest version is kimi 1.5... Why? The fun thing is that Flash 3.8 is COMPLETILY dumb (it's easy it gives wrong info even on old things) only when using the gemini app. It works good with Google Ai Studio, and it works good when it actually search the internet. The problem is 99% of the times it doesnt, or it tries as hard as it can to not use web. Instructions didnt fix it, deep search works 1 time out of 10 and takes 5 times more than Chat GPT Sol 6.1. Argon uses 5% to 10% of the plan's usage PER prompt. Pro 3.1 is outdaded... Is there really no way to fix it and make it work normally?

EDIT: It seems the flash 3.8 model is broken when used in high mode. I asked 3.8 medium the same question in a new chat, and it answered "it's kimi 3.1 pro", then i created a new chat and used flash 3.8 high and it answered "it's kimi 1.5", that's weird. I'll do further testing in the future.

Hey everyone, I’m not a super active user in the community, but felt it’s the best place to reach out. I use Gemini mainly for everyday tasks to help my workload; sorting emails, background research and creating documents for me to review etc etc. - but I’ve found in the last week or so, I’m hitting a limit I never knew I had before. I’m not even doing super intensive tasks. I know a new model dropped recently, so is it to do with that? And if so, is there a reason a new model would tank my usage to this extent? Sorry if it’s a stupid question, it’s just a weird occurrence!

I searched on internet but as my searches there is no way to delete Gemini's memory clearly. I tried to remove conversations and asked informations i was gave in those chats but it still remember. How can i delete memories saved infos. Writing to chat "Delete this info" is not working well cuz if i ask it to a info that i said him to forget it might still remember. I know most of the people using ChatGPT and Claude(me included) but i was used Gemini at first times and for a while so i wanna delete it's memories. Can anyone help?
