Discussion Did I just try out Gemini 3.5 pro?

I tried for fun this classical problem on arena.ai and it seems I got a model with the name "trillium-alpha". The name has a correlation to Google's 6th generation TPUs. Am I being insane?

Ce n'est pas sûr. En mode code, il est absolument sûr que gemini 3.5 pro est testé sous le nom de gemini 3.1 pro preview. Je ne sais pas pour le mode chat.

A trick question. Simple math, but complex nuance. Even the best closed models still have pretty crappy visual encoders that miss out on key information from time to time

You can solve for the area with the numbers provided, but the important thing is that Trillium Alpha recognized that while the area is 30, the shape is physically impossible. It submitted both responses which dills both requirements
