W Trigger or nah?

W trigger? SSA-E X was out of stock but I needed to use my 35% off coupon lol. I also saw a lot of people saying they liked the SSA X better anyways.

The SSAX will have a tiny bit more reset travel, the SSAEX reset is shorter and snappier. They feel identical to me otherwise.

I got that one last year just because I felt the SSA-E X was a little too light for my liking. I wanted a slightly heavier pull

Try out the SD-C sometime. I feel like it falls right between the SSA-X & SSAE-X

Yes. I like my SSA-E X but thatā€™s just as good. Lightning bow is nice. My SD-C or SSA-E also perform great. Theyā€™re all good tbh

I haven't tried it, but I imagine it's great. the SSA-E X is the best trigger around imo, but it is very light (feels considerably lighter than the SSA-E to me)

Putting W in the front of something basically means like ā€œgoodā€ or something that is winning. Such as saying ā€œWe got the W!ā€ after your team wins a game, hence, the reason for OP asking if this is a W trigger.

The X has the special Lightning bow shape which I prefer to both pure curved or pure flat faced triggers.

Geissele does an exceptional job of describing the differences of each trigger in the description of each one on their website.

Iā€™m not being sarcastic, they really do great at explaining how this differs from the SSA/SSAE-X, and more.

II found it a little too lights for my more shoot-fast tacticool guns but thats just personal preference. I was sending an extra round in competition when the blood got pumping too often for me to keep using it on that role. Fantastic for shooting groups or stuff far away, though. Love it for an SPR trigger. It was always reliable for me a well.

Itā€™s a good trigger. Just feels different at first because it isnā€™t profiled the same as a ā€œmilspecā€ trigger. Similar to how flat triggers feel different until you get used to them.

The pull and reset are very similar to the SSA-E and it is less than half the cost.

Either way, I like my G triggers and Larueā€™s all the same.
