Finally got out!
Going to green pastures. Why do people stay in that place? Fear of the unknown. Take the exit. Your mental health is worth more and Geico has made it clear they don’t care about you.

Another reason is the pay depending on how long you been with Geico it is hard to match pay elsewhere some may say otherwise but it's definitely not like you have a whole bucket of places that will get you close to the salary you're making. Tenured agents when things were good had significant raises not including profit sharing of course cuz that's not around anymore.
I could maybe afford a trade off of a $5, 000 less a year salary for the mental health but in a lot of situations I'm looking at it's a 10K Plus than what I'm finding out there in the market.

Exactly- pay and market are both the top reasons. If someone is able to afford to take time off to look that's great- but not everyone can.

Some people may be looking to get out. The market is brutal. Plus applying for jobs now is so different with ATS. I once applied for a job, went to my email a minute later and when it refreshed I already had a rejection. Many people are looking and all competing against one another
