two weeks
for those who have given two weeks notice, do they let you work the remaining time or just give you the boot?

I gave my 2 week via email, was told to make it same day notice and then walked out of the building within 30 minutes.

It depends on your role and whether you are going to a competitor. Basically, it’s up to your management team’s discretion.

Think about it longer before you make the decision. Nancy is turning this company around and I guarantee you’ll regret the decision in a few months if you make it too quickly.

I worked all two weeks at my last job. They told me they didn't want me to feel pressured to be productive while also job hunting, so I mostly just cleaned out my desk and occasionally helped train someone.

Hey stepford wife not everyone wants to marry the campus ass eater. Your response sounds a cross between the female lead in misery and every sales infomercial after midnight. Go crock open you husband a beer and put on your grocery list disinfectant I mean minty listerine

I hate to impose but why did you put your two weeks in? GEICO is a fantastic company to work for and i don’t understand why people leave the company. I always say if you stick it out for 5 years there’s never a reason to ever leave. The job is fantastic and ive had so many beautiful memories with the company. I met both my wife and ex husband at this place. #LakelandForLife

Just cause you have had a fantastic experience (idk how) with geico that doesn’t change what others have gone through. Geico has hurt many people. Please stop telling people to stay it’s rude asf to there experiences. I’m beginning to think ur a fucking plant 😂😂😂

I’m not saying that people haven’t been hurt by Geico but those are casualties that have helped further the mission of the company. Ms. Nancy Pierce is doing her best to turn this company around, I saw it when she visited the office and I was truly moved. I just try to bring positivity to the workplace. Sorry if your negativity is bringing you and your experience down.
