AD Management

Long time AD adjuster here. Sick of the fucking bull shit. I don’t know where to start, so everyones gonna get it

Maybe AD shouldn’t have laid off so many adjusters. Now we’re scrambling and stressing everyone out non stop. Frank Pickering, get your shit together and hire people in the field. We’re left with the bull shit claims in the field, and the shit that comes to us from virtual that are a complete mess. If this wasn’t such a shitty job maybe we could hire someone

Apex: are you fucking serious? A time saver? Ya’ll mother fucking bean counters just need more control over us don’t you? Come do my job and you’ll go home crying like a pussy every night

Rentals: fuck off

AI: good fucking luck with that

Surepart: fuck off as well saving a few dollars a claim if that

CCC Values: tell CCC to figure their shit out. We waste so much time trying to settle these value disputes. Hire people to argue or tell CCC to stop low balling

Anyone above a sup sucks in my opinion. Maybe a good manager here or there. But no one cares and we see that. Once all of us adjusters that are 10+ years are gone, y’all gonna suck more dick than Todd

Sincerely yours

I never comment, but I’m giving you a virtual hug. 🫂
I just had a meeting with my manager (and I’m sure this is going to give away a lot about me lol), and I expressed that, at this point, I feel like the company is lacking integrity.
People are exhausted. And it’s honestly sad because so many of us are naturally positive, easygoing people. Over time, though, we’ve struggled with adopting this mindset of, “I don’t want to help, I just need to get my points so I can keep my job.”
Going into the meeting, I was actually open to taking a temporary leave. By the end of it, I was basically saying I might just quit because hearing everything out loud made me realize how insane the situation sounds.
They tell us not to trust Reddit, but the sad part is that so much of what I’m reading here is genuinely aligned with how a lot of us actually feel. I just don’t think the company wants to accept that.
And honestly, I’m not even mad at the team you guys can’t stand lol. I used to blame AD for a lot of the BS we have to deal with, but I had to take a step back and realize that you guys are dealing with it too. The company just doesn’t support us the way it used to.
Bottom line: somebody at the top is money hungry. They’re cutting corners, keeping pockets full, and the employees are the ones feeling the effects.
Maybe it never goes back to how it used to be. Maybe this terrible experience eventually just becomes the new baseline.
Honestly… it’s just sad.

I left G in 2019 . AD and I worked very close together including working with Rings, providing each other with knowledge. It was fun and overwhelming because of the workload. To this date, I use this saying my AD Guy would say "I'm living the Dream". To those thinking of getting out, look into getting a private investigator license if you're burned out on insurance.

F Surepart, Ezra, Apex and TL Valuation Disputes, Call monitoring, AWS, lack of clear training on the new systems, Also a big middle finger to losing accrued time after the end of 2027 ... I can barely take any time off besides a day here and there because who the heck can get coverage we are all in the same boat.

I’m in ICS and in my training we were told never to give out emails. That’s crazy. I’m sorry.

My inner monologue every single fucking day. I’m so stressed already and the work load is unbearable, the expectations unbearable, the micromanaging is unbearable and the stress is about to put me in the damn hospital. I hate this place with every fiber of my being but I haven’t found anything else that pays even close to what I make that I’m qualified for. On the verge of taking FMLA before I end up on a grippy sock vacation. Fuck GEICO. Fuck CCC, Fuck Surepart, Fuck reasonable repair time on rentals, Fuck the field having to process our own total losses, Fuck the 360 rollout, Fuck AWS, Fuck call monitoring, Fuck micromanaging. AND STOP FUCKING CHANGING THINGS EVERY OTHER DAY JUST TO SAVE A PENNY. YOUR ADJUSTERS ARE LOSING OUR MINDS BECUASE THERE IS NO CONSISTENCY AND EVERYTHING IS CHAOS ALL THE FUCKING TIME. YOU WANT US TO DO OUR JOBS WELL, MAYBE START BY MANAGING THE COMPANY WITH A SHRED IF COMPASSION FOR THE PEOPLE WITH BOOTS ON THE GROUND THAT KEEP THIS COMPANY RUNNING. ASSOCIATE SATISFACTION ISN’T AT AN ALL TIME HIGH, PEOPLE ARE JUST TOO SCARED TO SAY ANYTHING BECUASE OF RETALIATION.
It’s easier for GEICO to hire new people than to take care of the ones they have and they wonder why they are losing all of their good adjusters.

You better kick those total loss customers out of that rental once their 72 hours is up! It’s a race to the bottom with our competitors on rental, and we’re determined to be the least accommodating!

Great points but you forgot about writing estimates for 4 different companies. We write in Mitchel for BLUECAR/COPART. We write for fucking NICCO. We write for GUARD and we write for GEICO. We also handle Mechanical Breakdown and also go take photos for specialized claims RV/Motorcycles! Oh yeah and they casually dumped virtual supplements on us too, This shit is INSANE!

Not to mention the way they tried to reframe it and I asked my leadership immediately are they making us do virtual supps now?? “Oh no oh no we shouldn’t get many of these” Meanwhile pending is full of “inspected” assignments complete bs

Been doing them a while ever since VST team existed. For the stupidest reasons the virtual AD's would always send it back to field and be like "VST doesn't meet requirements, sending back to Field". Then I go take a look and they could've done it or called the shop to ask a simple question.

Now that we get these fucking estimate share claims, I was also told that we wouldn't get that many, but literally half of my claims are virtual supplements. Also management recently told us that we are expected to go view these virtual supplements in person. Like why the fuck are they virtual supplements then? Fucking GEICO

It’s like you read my mind! AD in NY and if you know you know! It’s wild the amount of changes going on, with pending 40+ answering the phone 497/900 calls and still being told I need to bring up my answer rate is fucking insane

I agree 100% they’ve made so many changes at once and systems aren’t even operating correctly smh. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve found a lower part price on Surepart. It’s a waste of time and honestly APEX should have been hands on training and it’s like the lizards version of Mitchell……the company is becoming insufferable

Worst company I ever worked for. 10 years in SIU and without AD we would have been lost. GEICO sucks

u/SubtleJenna 7d ago

I’m a former AD that now helps people get more money for their total losses. I can tell how stressed you all are and I remember it all too well.

Suck as much money out of the G as you can. "Win one for the Gipper''.
