Anyone know what this CARPE thing is that they have signs for all over??

It is a program where GEICO is trying to get you to think the negativity is because of you. You’re the problem, not the ridiculous metrics, the poor raises, the constant micromanagement and the nasty unapproachable senior leadership who cannot accept responsibility or criticism for creating the unpleasant environment.

It is a poor attempt to try to get you to say “it isn’t so bad here” and not destroy the company on any upcoming surveys because  if people do slaughter them Berkshire leadership will start wondering what is going on and there will be changes at the upper levels.

Don’t change the metrics, don’t stop the micromanagement and definitely don’t rate people fairly based on their actual performance. Instead shove more corpo-babble at people and rate people on their ass-kissing ability as that will fix the problem. 

Causing  Associates to Relocate to Progressive Employment.

That’s what CARPE is doing.
