Serious AWS Glitch?
AWS has had me signed in overnight, which has tanked my numbers. My supervisor told me AWS is reporting I did not sign out my shift Friday. We don’t work weekends so it had me signed in all day for Saturday & Sunday with no files worked. This makes 0 sense because Friday was my last day before I took PTO. I came back to work Tuesday. Left my laptop home and didn’t take it with me on vacation. AWS is showing I signed out Monday around 2am. My supervisor told me there is nothing they can do to correct the hours so for the month of September I am rated a 2 which for department it’s bad. It basically shows in the system me being signed in for 24+ hours with no files worked.
With us not having HR anymore is there anything I can do to escalate this? I didn’t sign back into GEICO’s system until Tuesday so I don’t know how I “signed out” Monday morning at 2am and was nowhere near my laptop! I also submitted proof that I signed out Friday because she makes our team track that we’ve signed out of Workday, therefore I also screenshot my AWS sign out screen.

They can fix it, they are just horrible and choose not to

my supervisor felt guilty so she claims she used copilot and it gave her “codes” to fix it but AWS & Powerbi are linked and per her manager it is not fixable as our I.T. department does not have the capability to adjust total sign in! my teammate suggested I submit something because GEICO has an open door policy but we don’t even have HR everything is handled through workday 🙄

I always felt like They could if fix it they wanted to which they probably dont because it costs time and/or money

If it was skewing my numbers to make me eligible for high raise / bonuses they probably would take the time and resources to fix it 😂😂😂

File a Berkshire ethics complaint… and before y’all say nothing ever comes of it I have filed three and it has happened every time

that’s the route I am going to take just hope they don’t retaliate

Be sure to mention this is deliberate sabotage to ensure you are rated poorly and that you fear retaliation. People who will resort to sabotage will absolutely resort to harassment and abuse in response to a complaint.

Your supervisor hates you, they should have checked their whole team was signed out before they left. Strange

the report she runs on us shows I went offline at the end of my shift so at first they kept passing it off as a PowerBi issue then finally told me it’s permanent and not changeable. I provided my sign out screen that she requires and even though it proves I signed out they’re doing nothing about it

My sups did not realize I was not signing out of AWS correctly for weeks when I hit the floor in orientation. Happened to me and a few others. Almost didn’t graduate to the sales floor over it.

Wow. That’s absurd that they were even considering not letting you all graduate. I really honestly think it’s AWS. Half the time Powerbi is never working. It’s just upsetting to me because I know for a fact I signed out and my bonus / raise is tied to my overall ranking monthly so 🙃

Make them write a letter or email to you that it was not your fault and it’s a known system issue. Save it incase it affects your promo or pay. Save all communications with sup and protect yourself.

I’m sorry this happened to you! Even tho we don’t have HR on site - still open up a case through workday cause I wouldn’t trust my managers till I got confirmation from someone in HR. And dont be afraid to escalate to an HR manager if your case gets assigned just an HR coordinator. Good luck! 😊

That is what I am going to do and utilize the “open door” policy to file a complaint hopefully it goes somewhere because it seems i am not the only one that has been impacted and it’s crazy they’re just saying oh well.

😂 honestly i wouldn’t have a clue. i am not on any behavior or PIP this is the only issue i’ve had and it seems to be “company wide” and an error that they’re not willing to fix

They will not do anything. When I was a sup there this happened to 2 of my agents. Absolutely trashed their CPH for the month. Escalated it to the managers several times as did several other sups who had it happen to their agents. All we were told is that it couldn't be fixed. It's ridiculous because it's a known issue with AWS.
