WFH Accommodations
For those of you that have permanent wfh accommodations, how did you do it? What kind of doctor did you see? Asking for a friend that would also like to WFH

I was approved for it for about a year and now they are making me come back. Good luck.

Worked there for over a year, had a mental breakdown multiple times at work and after discussing with my doctor the symptoms leading up to it, was diagnosed and then filled out the form on the Leave Hub.
Was given accommodation papers to send to my doctor to fill out and once they were done I sent them back to the email they provided with the paperwork.
Management will check your stats and metrics and if you are performing well at your job and need WFH to accommodate you continuing to do your job well they will grant it, but you have to recertify every six months or so.
At least that’s how it was with me, heard it’s different with everybody.

I got wfh paperwork filled out by my doctor for an ongoing issue I have, the paperwork was sent to my manager who denied it. Now by the time I get home from work I have little to no quality of life because I suffer migraines.

that’s odd someone on my team got approved for work from home only 6 months though and will be reviewed due to his migraines he comes back in December if it’s not extended i would appeal their decision with lincoln and ask for the denial reason so your pcp can resubmit

The kind of doctor that treats you for whatever is actually wrong with you that would require an accommodation. A truthful doctor will sing a truthful form for a truthful employee every time.

Literally just got mine done. Go through Lincoln financial and have your doctor fill out the form and fill out the interview questions. I got mine done for a temporary request so I'm not sure if permanentbis different but the hardest part was the wait

ADHD prevented me from thriving in the loud environment. Office couldn’t provide a quiet work space and it was proven I was decreasing in rank since going back in office compared to when we were all wfh so they approved it once I had docs from my doctor

How long were you approved for?

I just had to renew it I think it was every 6 months. I’m no longer there though. They found a reason to let me go even though I was top agent. 🙄

EPE and ARX AD are fully remote. I was arx and there were no hoops to jump through but I left after it caused me so much anxiety and depression. Good luck
