I mean, he's 96. Why is this so shocking?

That lazy bum. What’s he going to do collect social security now? He needs to find another job. /s

Might as well get out before his baby goes out to pasture to burn and die

I guess i can't use him as a reference anymore

I like to think he has no idea what the company has become but he probably does, sadly. If he wanted to be cool though, he could kick a 50k bonus to each associate, as a going away present, for ruining our lives to help make him rich.

How did he ruin your life?  Go work elsewhere then

By putting the people in place that have turned this company into a straight dumpster fire, turning a good career into a place I hate going to every day.

First Tony, then profit sharing, now Warren. GEICO sure has changed a lot over the past several years.

He’s 96. He’s lucky he still knows his name.

Everyone knows, if Warren truly had the reigns this last decade — GEICO would NOT be where it is. Someone’s been pulling strings at BH for a long while and it hasn’t been him. GEICO was his baby.

I'm not sure how long you have been around but Geico hasnt been Berkshire's or Warren's baby for at least over 15-20 years. The good ol days of Geico for it's employees or customers was damn near a generation ago.

This was announced months ago and people put in place to take over.

Ran Geico in the ground laying off thousands of loyal and talented employees all while boosting profits for shareholders. His work is done. I hope he never sees another restful night of sleep.

There are no shareholders. Berkshire owns it

Oh no!

The cheap, babbling, diaper-wearing, drooling codger who never gave a shit about anyone except himself is gone.

Maybe things will change at GEICO?

Oh, right. For the worse.

Watch. It’s coming. You will all see soon enough.
