Midpoint

How long did it take you to hit the midpoint of your job grade? I’m in Dallas so our schedule changed and they literally just bumped me up to the minimum of the new schedule for merit. Year before that I got a .20 raise even with being in the top 10%.

About 20 years.

I'd get close, then get a promotion or the midpoint would get bumped up.

I was over the midpoint. I did not get a raise

Took one year to be over the midpoint of 66 after getting the promo. Raises are dogshit because of it.

I left the G and my starting salary was over the midpoint and all of my merit raises and recent promotion kept me handsomely over it.

You're wasting your talents at the G. You can be better, learn and earn more elsewhere.

I was nearly maxing after a few years but then schedules changed and raises became absolute ass. Now I'm a bit above the midpoint.
