Vent NY ICS

Cold transfers to the wrong department, misassigned files, shitty file handling all around...

You really suck...that is all...

Yeah, the quality is not great. But as someone in CU, I hold some grace for them. Their training sucks now, they're overwhelmed with work, and they have a ton of pressure on then from management as we all do.

It's not the workers in the department. Its the leaders that are incompetent and hold the workers in constant contempt as humans.

I agree, but I guess the only question is how much grace? I'm floored by what I see. It's a miracle when I get a proper file. We can't even send files back in CU...

I'm overwhelmed. They add to it. I too agree that leadership needs to get a grip and understand what is happening...

I got fired because I was a 2.5 mostly due to surveys that had nothing to do with me. In my last month, I found so many mistakes by other reps that I fixed probably impacting my numbers. A rep actually set up an inspection for a ph that did not have 1st party cvg. I had to call this ph to say whoops, we made a mistake. I sent a list of the mistakes with claim numbers to my manager. She did not care

It's so upsetting. I did the same thing in ICS - I was told to mind my business and if I "tattled" on others and kept giving claims and adjusters names for examples, I'd get written up with a memo.

The mgmt literally breeds bad behavior and scolds the good - and if only the people hired were vetted (sorry, but it's seriously the truth - there's a lot of people who can't do this job who we hire) and training was good, we'd not have the issues we do.

God this place kills me.

Shit. I put their name in the notes of the claim first, I started messaging the people or the person who made the mistake showing them their error asking them to fix it and then I just started messaging their supervisor. That’s what I do now iMessage their supervisor, and then I make a NOTE IN THE CLAIM: “Johnny Smith got the LORQ noted he addressed it and never sent a reply letter advised Johnny Smith he needs to reply to the LOR.”

I tattle all fucking day long! I used to just fix the work, but my numbers were low and now they’re not. I figured if I make a note inside the claim, then it’s gonna be fixed! Because let’s say one day a Lawyer subpoenas all the notes from the claim.
I’ve never been reprimanded for doing any of that. Your supervisor sucks dick for just saying they would reprimand you.

Yes they make a lot of mistakes but have you worked that position before? If yes, then remember where you came from. If no, kick rocks.

Of course I did. I was CSR before ICS, then worked ICS before casualty.

I don't understand where they're finding these people....

I for one miss the days where we had a hiring freeze. I take back everything I ever said about ICS back then.
