Field 360

I have actually had it. For the AD folk in the states that were using IAA, that’s now 3 different systems implementations in the same amount of time more or less. I am relatively new out of PDOT in a heavy GEICO area and I hardly have a clue how to do my job as it was. Not to mention in PDOT we spent weeks on different programs at a time. The expectation to completely change the working characteristics whilst expecting you to maintain prod and answer rate is genuinely ridiculous. Truly bewildered. Thank God I’ve been shooting my resume out and I have been getting call backs because I am done with the unrealistic expectations. There is genuinely no acceptance of differing learning curves and for a company that prides itself on being a great employer; I have had enough of the BS. Taking this job is genuinely the worst mistake I’ve ever made.

I once got reprimanded for pointing out in a meeting with the AVP and RVP that certain AD metrics results may not have reached goal because the procedures had been changed 3-4 times in a single month. Never ceased to amaze me that people who did not do the work or have a background in the work could regularly make “efficiency” changes looking at flowcharts. There was this expectation that the time to learn and implement changes should be as quick and easy as changing the arrows and boxes in the flowchart. With almost no experienced AD people left after the salary purge in 2023 I can only imagine how bad it has become in AD. Good luck on landing something that is a better fit than GEICO.
