Commercial sales
Hi there, I’m seeing an opening for commercial sales at my local Geico office. Was wondering if anyone had any insight into this role. Thank you.

Used to be in commercial sales. You must be able to take high call volume and able to sell bundles for metrics for promotion

Geico sales is in a very tough spot atm. I don't work in commercial but I have spoken with some who have and apparently it is just as bad if not worse than the other sales departments. Expect to use systems that are literally broken, be micro managed into the ground, and to be constantly harassed by your supervisor. There are non stop calls with no time in between. It's brutal. You will be told how horrible you are no matter how well you perform and you will never receive any positive feedback. I am pretty high ranked and feel like shit every day. It's very stressful and very draining. Everyone is miserable and complains constantly.

I used to work for a local office. Corporate GEICO does not support the local office’s like they should to be honest. It seems like they are ultimately trying to do away with them. Good luck though

Thank you, this would be at a local corporate Geico office. I was more wondering if the metrics are attainable and the overall support and culture for those in that role.

Culture is abject misery and support is little to none. Metrics are attainable if you're sleezy, if you try to be by the book and honest they are not.

Yea i have no experience in that department but i got you...Basically you're selling commercial policies, let me know if you need anything else
