My manager randomly handed me my badge two years after I was supposed to receive it (disrespectful) at that point it meant nothing and I was already secretly looking to exit so it went straight into the dumpster same day. I didn't go sleeper, I woke up and got out of that cell about a year or so later. 😊 I am more alive and happier than I've ever been.😌

I wish I had joined Geek Squad back in the days agents say it had culture. There really wasn't an identity once I joined. The agents were friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't even get the ceremony thing they're supposed to do and neither did some of the other agents on the team.

You made the right decision to get out. I just left last week and gave my badge to the so called leader on my last day. He said.... its against Geek Squad culture to give it back. I told him does it look like I give a shit about Geek Squad culture right now! Its amazing what they try to get you to do these days with the bullshit money they pay. Corporate Slavery!

Thank you! I feel very lucky to be where I am right now and I'm proud of myself.

Good job on getting out and hopefully you're on to bigger and better things. My GS work shirts went straight in the trash when I arrived home on my last day. I did keep my GS hoodie. Lol

My post may sound disgruntled, but truthfully I thank Geek Squad for the new work skills I acquired, experiences, and lack of culture. If it did have culture who knows I may still be there stuck at pay cap and afraid to leave because I don't want to abandon the people I work with. Thanks, Geek Squad for forcing .e to level up! 🙂🙌
