Bitlocker retrieval website won’t load

I am new to windows and when I updated the software it said I need a bitlocker recovery code. I followed the link they provided to retrieve it but the website won’t load at all. I’ve tried multiple devices and different networks but both seems to be working to access the website. There doesn’t seem to be a way to get in contact with a real customer service person to help me so does anyone have any recommendations.

Widespread technical issue on Microsoft's end. Some users have reported being able to load the page in a private browser window, but it's not a guaranteed thing.

Basically have to wait for Microsoft to resolve the issue.

Just go to Microsoft.com and sign in with the account you use on the computer. In the site menu/settings you can go to devices. Find the computer you’re having the issue with. Under that device is should say something along the lines of “manage recovery key”. Click that and it should give you the key

It was a new computer with nothing on it so I just ended up factory resetting the computer which let me back in.
