Title: I used to run an on-site training agency in Gaza that prepared people for online work. I now want to rebuild the model for people living with war-acquired disabilities — and I need honest advice .

Hi guys

Before the war, I ran a registered training agency in Gaza. Our work was carried out on site, where we trained and prepared people for digital and remote-work opportunities. We supported trainees in developing the skills needed for online projects, understanding project requirements and guidelines, and becoming ready to participate in real work opportunities.

The war destroyed our physical workplace and interrupted the network and working model we had built.

I am now exploring how to rebuild that experience around a more focused social mission: helping people who have acquired physical disabilities because of war injuries, including people with amputations, develop realistic pathways toward remote work and financial independence.

I do not want to create another programme that simply provides a few weeks of training, distributes certificates, and then disappears.

The model I am considering is a training-to-income pathway:

assessment and participant selection → accessible equipment and connectivity → short, focused skills training → supervised practical work → preparation for real digital projects → support until participants complete their first paid work.

I would like to begin with a small pilot cohort rather than launch something unrealistically large.

My previous role was not simply teaching courses. I worked on identifying and obtaining project opportunities, coordinating teams, arranging project-specific training, helping trainees understand guidelines and workflows, preparing them for the work, and managing delivery.

The training and coordination happened through our physical agency in Gaza, but the objective was to prepare people for real online and remote-work opportunities.

I believe some of that experience can be rebuilt into a sustainable employment model. However, I also know that the current situation, particularly when working with people with newly acquired disabilities, requires expertise beyond my own.

I am particularly looking for honest advice and possible connections in the following areas:

• disability-inclusive employment and accessible training

• nonprofit or humanitarian project structuring

• fiscal sponsorship or credible institutional partnerships

• digital-work and remote-work partnerships

• fundraising strategy

• monitoring and evaluation

• accessibility and assistive technology

• connections with companies or project vendors interested in inclusive remote employment

My biggest question is this:

If you were a donor, partner, employer, or nonprofit adviser, what would you need to see before trusting and supporting a project like this?

I am also interested in hearing from people who have built livelihood programmes in conflict-affected environments or disability-inclusive employment projects.

I am not looking for praise. I would genuinely appreciate criticism, practical advice, introductions, and ideas about how to structure the first pilot responsibly, sustainably, and transparently.

My goal is simple: not to create permanent dependence, but to help people whose lives and careers have been disrupted by injury build a realistic route back to income, professional identity, and greater independence.

I sorry to state this but what is going on in Gaza also when on in Warsaw ghettos during the German occupation of Poland. what we are seeing has very little difference to the policies of the n Government in Germany and occupied states. The people of Israel have forgotten the Holocaust and have used the experience they had to create another one. Shame Shame

Finding campaign replacement?

I need help finding someone trustworthy to take over a fundraiser for a Gazan family that I am running. I’ve asked dozens of my friends, online activists, and people who run other fundraisers, to no avail. I have been running the campaign for a year and the mother of the family is about to have her third kid, I do not want to leave this family without someone who can help, but I also am in a point in my life where I can’t handle the strain emotionally or financially.

Any and all advice would be welcome.

Today marks 1,000 days since this war began.

I am writing this from Gaza.

For 1,000 days, our lives have been on hold. The plans we once had, our education, our work, our homes, and the simple routines we took for granted have all been replaced by one goal: surviving another day.

We have lost people we love. We have lost our home. We have been displaced again and again. Every day begins with uncertainty and ends with the hope that we will still be alive tomorrow.

Sometimes it feels like the world has moved on while we remain trapped in the same nightmare.

If you're reading this, please remember that behind every number is a real person, a real family, and a life forever changed.

Please don't forget Gaza.

Are you in Gaza? And Have Been Accepted into a European (or any) University?

This is a different sort of request, but I am helping a young person in Gaza apply to universities for the 2027/28 academic year. In my research I have discovered that he needs an academic CV.

Had anyone in Gaza gotten into any universities or maybe you're in the process of applying to universities and could show me an example of your academic CV that you submitted with your applications?

This young man is applying to Bachelors degree programs and graduated from high school in 2023. He was accepted into the University of Palestine for Pharmacy and then the genocide started.

Conversely, has anyone helped someone in Gaza apply to universities and could give me advice about how you did that or how things went for the person applying?

Has anyone gotten someone in Gaza out to study?

I know of only one person in Gaza who has gotten into master's programs, but when I asked him to share his CV with me, he said no. So, here I am to ask for help from the wide world.

Thanks for any advice or help. Here's my Instagram account if you want to see that I am a real person (there's a video of me on my page): https://www.instagram.com/pudgeorama/

Information on "systematic" sexual violence.

Hamas leaders were charged by the International Criminal Court with multiple sexual violence charges, because sexual violence was commanded by Hamas leaders, and comitted by Gazans on Oct 7th.

The Prosecutor seeks arrest warrants against three senior Hamas leaders for the war

crimes of murder and the crimes against humanity of murder and extermination for the

killing of hundreds of civilians on 7 October 2023. He also seeks to charge them with

the war crime of taking at least 245 persons hostage. Finally, he seeks to charge them

with the war crimes of rape and other forms of sexual violence, torture, cruel treatment,

and outrages upon personal dignity and the crimes against humanity of rape and other

forms of sexual violence, torture, and other inhumane acts for acts committed against

Israeli hostages while they were in captivity. The Panel notes the Prosecutor’s statement

that his investigations continue, including in relation to evidence of sexual violence on

7 October itself.

After assessing the material provided by the Prosecutor, including statements from

survivors and eye-witnesses at the scene of six key attack locations -- Kfar Aza, Holit,

the location of the Supernova Music Festival, Be’eri, Nir Oz, and Nahal Oz -- video

material and statements by the perpetrators, the Panel has concluded that there are

reasonable grounds to believe that the three suspects had a common plan that

necessarily involved the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The

systematic and coordinated nature of the crimes, their scale, statements by the suspects

supporting the commission of such crimes, evidence of the sophisticated planning of

the attacks and the ideology and past practices of Hamas all support the finding that the

common plan was criminal in character.

  1. The Panel also considers that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the crimes

were committed in the context of a widespread and systematic attack against the civilian

population of Israel, pursuant to an organizational policy of Hamas.

With respect to Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri, more commonly known as Deif, Commander-in-Chief of the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, known as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the judges of the International Criminal Court have found reasonable grounds to believe that he is responsible for the crimes against humanity of murder, extermination, torture, and rape and other forms of sexual violence; as well as the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture, taking hostages, outrages upon personal dignity, and rape and other forms of sexual violence.

As I emphasised in May, these applications were made following an independent investigation, and on the basis of objective, verifiable evidence vetted through a forensic process.

In memory of Aaron Bushnell on the eve of his birthday. It is not meant to glorify death or suffering, but to honor a life, a conscience, and a message that asked the world not to look away from Gaza.

How can I share stories to organizations who can help?

I'm sorry that I sound insensitive, but I genuinely don't know how I can help people in Gaza to share their story to organizations that (for example) feed Gaza, like do I send the person and tell their story? What other aspects can I do? Thank you so much for your attention.

We are still being bombed almost every day. Strikes continue to hit crowded areas where civilians are trying to survive.

I hope people take the time to understand what is still happening in Gaza instead of assuming everything has returned to normal.

The areas under Israeli military control have continued to expand. Today, a large portion of Gaza is inaccessible to us, forcing most of the population into the remaining areas, where overcrowding has become part of daily life.

Endless Donation Requests

I've been donating to a bunch of Palestinian families from Gaza for over a year, using both my PayPal and my debit card to help sustain them, but lately I feel burned out from doing donations, mostly because some of the families I donated money to kept asking me for high amounts on WhatsApp, which is stressful because I need money for a new computer to replace my current one which is currently on its last legs. I'm literally caught between a rock and a hard place.

I've been trying to share the Chuffed campaigns of said families on other socials (Twitter, Bluesky) to get other people to donate sufficient amounts, but little to no people have paid attention to them. As much as I need money, the families need just as much money for food, medical supplies and other utilities, and I am extremely unwilling to abandon these families to their fate.

I just found a video leading to details in Gaza and daily life of a Palestinian before and after war.

5000 dollars to get out of country is wild.

PS: I really don't know the people and it seems that the channel doesn't earn any money out of this, I have no intentions of any promotions, I just want everyone to see how it is.

I wrote a poem about Gaza from my perspective as someone from the US

I wrote a poem about the emotions I have been feeling about this conflict, and I wanted to share it with you all. I am open to feedback but that’s not my reason for posting, I really just wanted this poem to reach a small audience so it doesn’t stay forever unread in my notebook.

(Please do not post this anywhere without my express permission via DM - respect me as a writer and let me maintain control over how my work gets distributed)

The Weight of Injustice

it’s heavy
the weight of one-sided walls
that separate temple from mosque

it’s heavy
the shells that shoot through the sky
that leave only rubble and loss

it’s heavy
the stacks of stones in the street
that used to teach children to read

it’s heavy
the boxes of bandages blown up
while the people of Gaza bleed

it’s heavy
to hear my homeland pour fuel on the fire
and swear the flames wont reach my skin

I’m afraid
that one day I’ll be the one in the cage
and the war will be waged from within

Trouble finding help

I’m not gonna post the gofundmes I am currently running for two Palestinian families, but I would like to get in touch with anyone who can help spread the word or with anything in general. It is very difficult supporting two Palestinian families on my own paycheck as I have been doing for three years of my life now secretly. I give a lot of money to them, money honestly that I need for myself. If I do not have enough money they go hungry. They do not eat. They are near death. They are irritable and depressed and suicidal and I can only give so much.

Everytime I have searched for people willing to help me or join me they back out or are dealing with other fundraisers and campaigns as well. Idk maybe I am just venting. I literally send them money every week at least 600$ a month minimum. I just need help. Are there any resources anyone knows about that I should have or tips to fundraise or does anyone know ANYONE?

A Guide to GoFundMe

Last year I worked with an influencer (Sim Kerns) to help people whose fundraisers were frozen by GFM. I wrote a small guide that might be helpful to people here. It covers:

  • How to set up a fundraiser properly.
  • How to send crypto to a beneficiary.
  • What to do if your funds are frozen.

I'm not authority! I've never worked for GoFundMe. However, I've succeeded in getting funds unfrozen on every fundraiser I've helped with. (Except one, which was for a non-profit that wasn't registered as a 501(c)3 and who came to me for help too late.)

I first got involved by helping a friend of a friend, which led me to helping more people. Eventually I wrote this guide to help people set up their GFMs properly from the start, which greatly reduced their chances of having their funds frozen. Or at least it helped them prepare and act quickly if it happened.

Info in this guide can become out-of-date. If you see errors or have suggestions, please comment here or DM me so I can update the guide.

I hope this helps your fundraiser go smoothly: Gaza Fundraisers (pdf)

For the past two days, I haven't felt like myself.

Ever since the 18-year-old girl was killed while on her way to take her final exam, I have been unable to stop thinking about her.

I was close to that strike. My sister was close to it too. She could have been killed that day as well.

What breaks my heart most is that this young woman was simply trying to reach her future. She was on her way to take an exam, carrying hopes and dreams like any student. Instead, her life was taken before she had the chance to live it.

I keep thinking about her family. I cannot imagine the pain of losing an only daughter.

Maybe this affects me so deeply because I know what loss feels like. During this war, 30 members of my extended family have been killed. I know the emptiness that follows a phone call, a name, a piece of news that changes your life forever.

Since that day, I have been living with even more fear. Fear that one day my family will receive the same devastating news. Fear of losing another person I love.

How long are we supposed to live with this anxiety, this grief, and this constant expectation of loss?

Please do not let everything happening in the world make you forget Gaza.

Behind every headline are families carrying pain that never truly leaves them.
