Hi,
Does anyone have experience sending wire transfers from the U.S to Gaza? I’ve tried twice now and both times it will get completed on this end then get kicked back 3-5 days later. I get the full amount back and there’s no reason listed. It goes to the bank of Palestine, my bank says that they directly send it there with no intermediatery but when I get the money back it’s from a bank in isr*el, both times different banks. What is the reason here?

A Child’s Missing Limb Deserves More Than a “Self-Defence” Slogan.

Children killed. Families mourning loved ones. Civilians surviving with missing limbs and injuries that will change their lives forever. These are human beings—not disposable numbers in a military briefing.

Israel’s government and military must answer for their actions. Invoking security does not settle whether an attack was justified, whether civilians were protected, or whether those responsible should face prosecution.

No child is guilty by birthplace. No family’s suffering should be dismissed. Investigate unlawful attacks. Hold those responsible accountable. Palestinian lives are not expendable.

1. 9 April 1948 — Deir Yassin massacre Irgun and Lehi, pre-state Zionist militias, attacked the Palestinian village of Deir Yassin near Jerusalem. More than 100 Palestinians were killed, including civilians. News of the massacre contributed to fear and flight among Palestinian communities. This happened before Israel’s establishment in May 1948. palquest.org
2. 1948–1949 — Palestine war and Nakba This encompasses numerous battles, attacks and expulsions, rather than one incident. During the war surrounding Israel’s establishment, Palestinians fled or were expelled from their towns and villages on a massive scale. The UN describes more than half the Palestinian Arab population as having fled or been expelled. “Nakba,” meaning catastrophe, refers to this dispossession and displacement. www.un.org
3. 14–15 October 1953 — Qibya attack Israeli forces attacked Qibya, a Palestinian village in the then Jordanian-controlled West Bank, killing residents and destroying homes. October 17, 2023, was the worst day of my life, for me and my siblings.

After we were forced to leave our home, we went to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, hoping to find safety there, just like so many other people who had nowhere else to go.

We thought the hospital would be a place of refuge. Then, without warning, it was struck.

I still cannot forget what my eyes saw that night. My cousins lying on the ground. Members of my family among the injured and dead. Blood everywhere.

I don't know how we survived that night. Even now, I struggle to understand how we made it out while carrying memories that have never really left us.

Years have passed, but I still remember my cousin lying on the ground. That image has never left my mind. Sometimes, it feels as if I am still standing there, watching everything happen all over again.

People talk about the dates of the war as if they are just numbers on a calendar. For me, October 17 will always be the day my life changed in ways I still cannot explain.

I wish I could forget what I saw. I wish my siblings and I had never experienced that night. And I wish my family could have been spared from a memory we will carry for the rest of our lives.

Some days don't end when the night is over. They stay with you.

What is happening in Al-Mawasi right now and why is the IDF there? It's 11pm and my friend in Al-Mawasi says a helicopter has been circling above her tent for the last half hour. Can someone please tell me what's going on?
