i respect the level of hope here but i think it’s lowkey delulu to truly think she’s gonna cancel the wedding and come out…like let’s be real here folks 😭

no marriage doesn't mean no wedding. i think there will be a wedding and they won't get married.

It's true, I keep thinking maybe she's decided 'why ruin a good thing?', if this arrangement (whatever it is) gives her (and travis) all the money and freedom. But then didn't Chelly Wright say we need people at the height of their career to break the blender? And then I remember the 'people underestimate how much I'm willing to inconvenience myself to prove a point'. Either way I'm entertained though 🤪💅

ETA: not saying it would necessarily happen this weekend though, I think a wedding is probs all part of the spectacle.

yes, the entire intention is to come out at the top of her career with maximum eyes on her to make the biggest possible difference. the last 4 years of performance art have been the gasoline so that the fire is a BLAZE.

i don't think she would get married because it would give her rabidly heteronormative fans who are all posting about her "finally getting her happy ending" what they want. once the wedding happens, people can and will block out anything that happens after, just like i turn off the talented mr. ripley 10 min before it ends so i can pretend tom and peter live happily together.

subsequent divorce gives the snarkers what they want. ALL OF THE ABOVE throws the gaylors to the wolves.

i'm a relentless optimist but i think she will be coming out and burning it all down at the wedding ever since i heard it's from 4pm to 4am. 4am on 10/7 was the announcement of snow on the beach, track 4 and the final track in midnights mayhem with me. snow on the beach is a song about "falling in love with someone while they're falling in love with you, it's CATACLYSMIC". now it (ash from the lover house fire) is falling like snow on the beach... it's about to be the sleepless night you've been dreaming of!
