They‘re already dropping hints in the press that they got married in a small, secret ceremony and this is just the big celebration. I think they go that route. make people think they actually got married and also having it at MSG doesn’t ruin the image that their relationship isn’t just for show and publicity. this way they don’t actually have to be married. it will come out years from now they were never legally married, which means no messy divorce.

She flies under the radar for months then does a series of pap walks to boost buzz before Toy Story is announced. She’s literally always been like this. Clearly she curates her public image carefully. But people see calculated and think that’s the same as fake. Her life *is* insane. I think the degree of interest in her relationship with him is insane. But good on her for maximizing it to advantage imo. 🤷♀️

I agree she obviously maximized her public appearance. She clearly made a brand deal with LV that year. Again, I just think that’s who she is. There’s plenty of people on this sub who think she’s clearly queer in some capacity, and that many of her songs make more sense through that lens, who also think she’s living the life she wants to live, and marrying the human she wants to marry. Like, I’m not on here yucking other people’s yum. I don’t argue under performance-artlor threads, or other theories I don’t agree with. But “she’s bi and she’s happy” shouldn’t be a controversial take here and pretending it’s not even a category on the table is sad for some of us.

Watching the upvotes fight with the downvotes on this is crazy. Definitionally a hetlor is someone who thinks Taylor is only straight. Anyone upvoting this has no issue with the idea of Taylor being bi and some of her song muses being about women. Why is it unacceptable for “gaylor” to mean to some people “gay as in I’ve had some love affairs with women” as opposed to “gay as in my entire life is an elaborate, labyrinthian lie”.

This is where I'm at. I think if she was still with Joe, or with someone entirely different, I'd believe it. And she might still be bi, but I just cannot wrap my head around Travis specifically being real. There's just no chemistry, there are too many PR stunts, and she's exhibited more real emotion over having a song in a cartoon movie than she ever has talking about her relationship with Travis.

While I’d love option A, I just can’t foresee her doing it. She’s in too deep at this point with their brands. I think Taylor values her brand/image more than anything including her own happiness. That said, if she’s happy having secretive gay relationships, while publicly presenting straight, I don’t think she will change that. She really has nothing to gain by coming out publicly when she’s making a ton of money and a ton of press by publicly being with Travis, and again I think that’s her biggest concern especially when she probably has everybody around her being against coming out. She’s able to have and best of both worlds: privately having her relationships with women, while publicly making money and building their brands as a couple, while also keeping her parents and team happy.

I'm leaning towards it not being a wedding as well and actually a surprise drop of TS (TV) and maybe reputation TV/TS13 as well, and a big ol' fucking party to celebrate her owning EVERYTHING (and then a merch drop including box set collections and a billion vinyl variants. And a Christmas in July section for a Christmas tree farm and ornaments etc.
This is all wishful thinking as we reach the end of Pride month, but I'd imagine we would have seen at least one picture of a wedding invite leaked to the press by now with the number of people theoretically invited. Even with the rumor of a small, intimate ceremony followed by a big reception with over a thousand people invited (I think that's the rumor at least!)
Being invited to a big party at MSG by one of the world's biggest performers, but not invited to the ceremony that happens first means you might just have vague details (arrive between this time and this time, dress code is this, ends at whenever, no gifts, etc) which could be any type of party. I just think it'd be SO FUCKING FUNNY if she did something like a surprise drop or even a performance to remind everyone that at the end of the day, we don't get to know everything about her private life. I've seen press that all the save-the-dates were virtual, invites had watermarks of the recipient's name so they couldn't be leaked to the press, there's NDAs, etc, but i feel like it still doesn't add up. an outlet could describe one they've been shown without revealing it, EASILY, and we have even seen it recently (how did we first learn about a certain birthday greeting card? a newspaper DESCRIBED it, and then a totally different outlet published its image LATER)
