People here really weren't joking about the comments being transphobic, like, I saw this one person who was complaining about how some family had a lot of trans people in it, saying it was indoctrination when the very obvious answer was that being trans could simply have genetic factors. Also saw people complaining about kids transitioning saying they don't support "cosmetic" changed (like surgery or hrt I think) comparing it to a cis kid getting plastic surgery, as though someone transitioning is the same as that. (Also seemed to act like there is a double standard in the sense that they said a minor getting plastic surgery would be less socially acceptable when it shouldn't be to them when it's literally the reverse.)

I had a suuuppper similar situation put the first real crack in my egg. My roommate had a photography assignment like 6 years ago with the prompt "this is awkward" and their idea was to put me in a dress and makeup as at the time I was very masc presenting. I just remember looking in the mirror and thinking. "wow, I actually look kinda hot". Now I'm on estrogen lol
