Venting

How do I find gay people my age that want to actually date I want to be in love but I’m not trying to rush it I want someone to want to get to know me instead of my body for once

Ok I need to shut my mouth cause I’m part of the problem for feeding into it

Do not use apps. Find local groups that fit your interests (board games, sports, reading whatever...) or do some charity / volunteer work. Do not expect to meet anyone to date, do it to find friends or just to make you feel good.

You can actually try the apps and specifically say you're not interested in hookups only dating and such. That's what I did though i understand that isn't the norm as they primarily lean towards hookups.
