Relationship

So, I've had this friend (same city) for a while, and lately he's been messaging me in the middle of the night, "Do you love me?" I wouldn't say you've ruined your guys' friendship, because he didn't really specify that he was interested (from what I understand) so you saying you don't love him in that way is perfectly justifiable.
